War Mode: War Mode can be turned on at level 30 through your talent window, and will give you 10% bonus XP. You will, however, be attackable by players of the opposing faction, but changes have been made so that all players have a fair shot in a fight and even low-level players can kill much higher level players, and at least not get ganked and one shotted. Note: As of patch 8.1, you can get an additional call to arms bonus with war mode on if your faction is underepresented.
I dont know if this exist already, if it does I couldnt find one, but it would be nice to have a guide with the location of all daily quest broken down by Alliance, Horde, Faction, Neutral, etc. I know there can be variable quest for things like Fishing and Cooking but just having the location for those quest givers would be great. If it were a stand alone addon that would be even better!
Through out the game, the quest log will be capped to 20 many times.  The guide makes use of maximizing the total amount of quests you can accept at once.  Because of this it is important to follow the guide exactly and only accept quests if the guide tells you to so you won't run into issues not being able to accept a quest.  If you do accept a quest that is not listed in the guide, write it down because you may need to abandon it in order to keep following the guide if your quest log is full.

When assigning a selling price, do not aim for too low a price that would give you too little profit, but certainly do not assign too high a price. Too much greed is never a good thing, and the AH is filled with items that do not sell due to excessive inflation. A very common tactic in the AH is to sell for lower than what another player is offering, and many players make a lot of money that way. Similarly, losing sales thanks to being undercut is never fun. Aim for as low a price you can that will still make you a good profit. If you can keep producing the same item over and over, sell cheaply yet make a good amount of the item, you will reliably make a lot of money by volume. Moving inventory is the best kind of inventory.

PLUNDER THE ISLANDS OF THE GREAT SEA – Explore Azeroth’s uncharted isles in Island Expeditions. Battle in groups of three as you race against cunning rival intruders (or enemy players) to collect the island’s resources and fuel the war effort. Constantly evolving challenges await as you traverse frozen landscapes near Northrend, open the gates of an abandoned Gilnean castle, navigate a war between elementals, and more.
Overall Outlaw Rogues output a fairly average amount of single target damage. And, while they have the potential to cause great multi-target damage, there is an extremely high variance based on a number of factors, mostly due to how spread out some enemies may be and how reliant on cooldowns their abilities are. As with other Rogue specs, they do feature a number of defensive abilities, making them a fairly survivable class to play as.
Charge Into the Warfronts: Fight on the battlefields of a large-scale, 20-player cooperative Warfront to claim a key strategic location. Capture resources to build your faction’s forces, lead the charge as your troops lay siege to objectives, and fight the enemy commander to claim victory in this new PvE mode inspired by classic Warcraft RTS battles.
The recruit also grants the recruiter levels, with the latter gaining one level for every two levels the recruit gains. There are a lot of rules and restrictions to that, however. It all basically boils down to leveling alternate characters together. The recruiter can even earn epic mounts and battle pets if you stick with the game for a couple months.

This is cumulative, as you take into account each failed sale as a loss. In the event too many deposits accumulate, you must decide whether to continue selling the item inflated by too many sales or finding of another way to dispose of it. One final tip: when you find that an item fails to sell in one AH, selling it on the other may finally dispose of it and get you your earnings.
When an allied race has been unlocked for a player, new characters from that race will start at level 20. If a player levels an Allied race from 20 to level 110 without using character boosts, they will be rewarded with a unique "Heritage Armor" for transmogrification that reflects the unique lore behind the race but is limited for use to that race. Doing the quests to unlock the allied races will also unlock the races' unique mounts for use by the characters of their faction.[5] The void elves, Lightforged draenei, Highmountain tauren, and Nightborne, as races tied to the storyline for Legion, were made available with the preorder on January 30, 2018.[7] The Dark Iron dwarves and the Mag'har orcs are made available upon completing the "War Campaign" in Kul Tiras and Zandalar and reaching Exalted with one faction's War Campaign reputation; the Kul Tiran humans and Zandalari will be made available later in the expansion. Game director Ion Hazzikostas also indicated that additional Allied Races may be available in the future.[8] Blizzard later confirmed that there will definitely be more Allied Races beyond Zandalari and Kul'tirans.[9]
You’ll get a small window inside the game with instructions for what you need to do next, every step of the way to 120. You’ll also get a waypoint arrow that points you in the right direction to go at all times. If this sounds extremely convenient, you’re right! Zygor’s leveling guide/addon has completely taken the frustration out of leveling for me, personally. No more reading comments on WoWHead about how to complete quests. No more getting stuck, frustrated and bored with leveling. And no more feeling like WoW takes too much effort.
-New dungeons- About 3/4 are fairly decent, not too long not too short, but none of them are compelling, none make me say to my friends and guildies, "Hey, let's do this instance, I love the theme and encounters." They're dull but tolerable. The other 1/4 of the dungeons just aren't fun and you will groan when you get a mythic Keystone for the Underrot, the snake temple, or Waycrest Manor. Waycrest Manor is actually one of the better dungeons, however, with the new Infested affix, Waycrest Manor suffers from many game-breaking bugs that end in the entire instance being pulled due to doors not properly working as intended.
 Nightborne (7.3.5) - "Isolated behind a protective barrier for 10,000 years, the elves of Suramar grew increasingly dependent upon the arcane magic of the Nightwell. To protect this font of power, the leaders of the Nightborne struck a bargain with the Burning Legion that plunged their kingdom into civil war. After fighting for freedom from their demonic masters, the Nightborne seek allies in the Horde to help them reclaim their place in the world."

Both Burke and Danuser repeatedly stressed throughout the course of the interview that the Alliance is not a monolith of views and approaches. However, one character has taken the spotlight and the reigns of action: Anduin, the new high king. “With the death of Varian in Legion and the rise of Anduin to Kinghood, we’ve spent a lot of time on his character and showing his growth,” says Danuser. “He’s a great character, and we wanted to show how he interacts with big figures in the game.”

A Warfront called The Battle for Darkshore focuses on the struggle between Night Elves and the Forsaken. During the Warfront, you’ll be able to transform your character with temporary abilities, and when your faction controls either the Darkshore or Arathi Highlands, you’ll gain access to world quests.

-Warfronts- I liked the idea of warfronts because it blends elements of Warcraft III with World of Warcraft, however, it's not a PvP battleground or instance, it's PvE so given time, it's a guaranteed win so many people are starting to AFK in the warfront. Beyond that, there is only one warfront to participate in right now. Also, when preparing for a warfront, Blizzard presents you with daily quests to help "aid" the warfront, however, your daily quest turn ins have no bases on the progression of warfront. The warfront will continue to advance at the same rate no matter if you do zero quests or everyone does all the quests.
Cooking is a secondary crafting profession, which is available in addition to your two main professions. It takes various food crafting materials such as meats and fish and turn them into consumable food. The consumables give statbuffs and are used by raiders and other players seeking to maximize performance. Cooking is sadly a bit lackluster in BfA. You can make gold with both the feasts and the secondary stat foods, but the profit margins have been very thin for me.
Heirlooms are special pieces of armor that level up with your character, so they have stats that are always respectable for your character’s level (up to level 110). Heirlooms that fit the head, shoulder, chest, legs, and back armor slot offer an experience bonus. The total bonus is 45 percent if you have them all. It’s also possible to acquire a ring that adds another 5 percent, but you must win a fishing contest acquire it, and that can take some time.
Footholds into enemy territories can be done as you grow in levels and should be completed before reaching Level 120. Take the time after completing your first zone to do your first foothold, or you can choose to complete one as soon as you gather your 100 War Resources which will prompt you to return to your mission table area where the first foothold quest can be obtained. Similar to how your initial zone selection was largely irrelevant, this selection is, as well. Simply pick one and complete it to earn your Mission Table second champion. Send your champions out on missions, recruit troops, and then head back out to quest in your second zone selection.

The goblins of the Steamweedle cartel have set up several neutral auction houses about Azeroth. Gadgetzan, Booty Bay, and Everlook all house neutral auction houses. The neutral is useful for making money, as commodities that Alliance players can get easily can be sold at a cheap price to Horde players (or vice versa), and then sold at a higher price at a major city.
Finding the best route for you can be a bit tricky because of the size of the dungeon. I will usually only do about half the dungeon, killing as many mobs as I can in 6 minutes. After 5 minutes, make a group in the group finder and leave it. That will leave you a minute to complete your 6 minutes and you will be ported out on the 6 minute mark, ready to reset and port right back in.

The guide should advance to the point where you are in the zone's progression. There are a few steps that can-not autocomplete and they should (hopefully) have comments to the effect of -- you need to manually check this step off. -- For some reason you have to click these steps off 2-3 times to work. (the first time will move the tom-tom arrow, the 2nd time unchecks it and the 3rd click advances the guide).
If you already have a high-level character and want to quickly level up a new one, by far the best tools for the job are the items labeled “heirloom gear.” These pieces of gear have two very special properties — they bind to your account, so any character you own can use them, and they grant bonus experience. Their stats also scale with your character’s level up to a certain point, so you can equip a fresh character with heirloom gear and power through much of the game.
Isle of Quel'Danas: Special mention. At lvl 70 you can start doing the dailies here. Despite not being able to fly, the quest density is VERY high. I recommend hitting this every reset if you spend more than 24 hours REAL time(not /played)in the 70-80 level range. In fact, if you're doing a monk and only logging in once each day anyway, IQD WILL be your best exp/h for this level range.
The other addons are a great addition to the repertoire of the gold maker. Some add percentages and buying lists, while others provide price and revenue graphs to the reader. Chatter even allows you to repeat those WTS messages without sifting through pointless gossip and chatter. The in-depth workings of them will come later, as for now, more basic setup needs to be covered first.

5. at least get 4 characters with these professions. Tailoring/Enchanter; Minning/jewelcrating; Minning/Blacksmithing and Herbalist/alchemist. You can skip blacksmithing and take Minning/herbalist with 1 of your alts. While doing your world quest in argus, try to get all the ores and herbs that you can. Send all the cloth and greens to your tailor character.
For this farm we're taking it all the way back to eastern kingdoms.  We're going to be killing the purespring elementals in the purespring cavern for the item essence of water.  Essence of water is a semi-rare drop that goes for a shocking 252g per piece.  The caveat is that it doesn't drop all too often, but is still worth the trouble.  I wasn't getting TOO many of these, but I was still making bank with them.  The essences are used to create the old-world illusions, so they do have some inherent value.  Simply patrol the area and kill as many elementals as your heart desires.  It's a really cool and fun farm that can be done on autopilot.  Usually there is noone patrolling the spot.

 Tinder is great because there are often times where you are not casting  Fireball for prolonged periods of time due to moving from area to area. This talent will make your first Fireball on almost every new encounter do more damage, and be extremely quick. Combined with  Firestarter it is a guaranteed Critical Strike, giving you  Heating Up, which you can then follow up with a  Fire Blast giving you a  Hot Streak instantly on almost any new target you fight.

Marksmanship Hunters on the other hand have been completely reworked from their previous incarnation. Their focus regenerates passively considerably slower. For single target damage, a Marksmanship Hunter will now want to have their pet active, while in multi-target encounters you will want to have Lone Wolf active to gain a 10% damage bonus. This means that despite the increased damage output, you will have to lose your pets and the utility bonus effects that come with them. They are burdened by long cast times, making them less mobile in combat than the other two specs.
This is a risky way to make money, and not recommended. Tell a player that if he beats you in a duel you will give him 10 gold, but if you beat him he has to give you 5 gold. This can be very effective if you are skilled in PvP and make the bet with a trustworthy person, or friends. It is a very risky strategy, as you may lose gold, or the other player won't cough up the money anyway. You will also get a bad reputation if you don't cough up the money in the case of defeat.

As the battle for Darkshore begins, both the Alliance and Horde are blindsided by a new development: High Overlord Saurfang, who had been defeated and captured in the Battle of Lordearon, has suddenly escaped Alliance captivity and is on the run. Sylvanas sends Horde Champions to track Saurfang down, ostensibly to extract him. However, it quickly becomes apparent that the search party is in fact an assassination squad, as Sylvanas suspects Saurfang of colluding with the Alliance in an attempt to dethrone her. While some Horde champions choose to side with Saurfang and help him escape the assassins, other champions remain loyal to Sylvanas and report Saurfang's and the dissenting champions' treachery to her.


Mechagon and Nazjatar will both be endgame experiences that draw on the best elements of previous endgame grinds: the Timeless Isle, Argus, Tanaan Jungle, and the Broken Shore. Azshara’s domain of Nazjatar will be a little more typical, while Mechagon will be “what you might expect from a gnomish paradise,” says Hazzikostas. He describes it as more sandbox-y, unpredictable, and akin to a playground. Both zones will have flying enabled.

Nov 9 Maximizing Movement Speed in 8.0 So I find it difficult to find solid sources of current content ways of maximizing movement speed on a character. I'm hoping some of you can help me figure it out. In a way to maximize movement, I don't know if Blizzard has a hard or soft cap on movement speed for a character. I want to use a 110 since it would be reliable in farming most older content and materials. Sephuz Secret = 3% Passive w/ 15% whenever you use a CC effect. Viridium gems = 3% movement speed boost, but can they stack? Longstrider = A 110 still has access to limited azerite gear so you can get another 3% here I'm guessing with scaling helping you get that secondary bonus easier. Using the Leather Legendary BoE boots you get 5% movement speed per enemy killed for 1 minute. Stacking up to 5 times you can get 25% there. What else can you use? That's 34% movement passive by the looks of it. According to the toon you use that can go up and down according to character. Maybe some of the experts on the topic can help break down how to maximize speed.Jaszunn0 Nov 9

Mining is one of the three gathering professions in the game. You mine from ore deposits for all the various ores in the game. Your customers will be blacksmiths, engineers and jewelcrafters. You can make good gold per hour from tons of different routes both farming for legion ores and farming old world ores. I personally don’t farm, so I can’t tell you the best routes, but Studen Albatroz has you covered on a combined herbing and mining route.
Dec 28, 2016 Better Living through Technology!(new2macros) *note: this guide is for people who haven't used macros or advanced keybinds and want to try. Macros are basically 'super buttons' that you can create in order to use multiple abilities and spells from the same button. This means even if you have 15 different abilities, you can key them all to 3-5 buttons. With macros you can do things like: 1) have all your buff spells on one button 2) 'hide' abilities that you don't use very often so they only show when you need them 3) 'group' similar abilities so that, for example, all your commonly used melee skills are on one button 4) maximize your rotation so that you're always one step ahead of the GCD Macros are great, but there are a few limitations: 1) complicated! -learning macros takes a good chunk of time. It's only something I've been able to do since my work gives me some 'free time' to cruise the UI/macro forum. 2) software limited -While very powerful, there is potential to abuse macros so that, for example, you could hit one button and your character would kill every mob in range (eventually). This potential for abuse has cause blizzard to put some powerful limitations on macros. More about this later. 3) the One Button rule -each macro button can use only one ability each time you press the button. You can code this so that it will use a different ability each and every time you press it (and on a different target!), but you can't press the button once and, for example, have it cast all 5 self buffs on you. I don't even know where to start?! To get started with macros, it's very simple. Just log on WoW and type /m. This brings up your macro box, where you just have to hit 'new' and the game will prompt for a name and an icon. I recommend that you leave the icon as a question mark. (?) The question mark means the game will automatically pick up the picture of the ability that the macro will use. My First Macro For your first macro lets just replace a normal ability you use on your bar in combat. I'm going to use paladin abilities here, but you can replace them with whatever ability you like. So to make my first macro, I went to the /m menu in game, picked a new macro, and gave it the question mark icon. Then I click on the icon, click on the empty box, and type: /cast This is the basic core of every macro. It's basically like the verb in a sentence. You can use different 'verbs' (called slash commands) but this is probably the most popular. Since I want this macro to cast Hammer of the Righteous, I simple type that in after the /cast. /cast Hammer of the Righteous And pow! I'm done! If you drag this onto your bar and hit it a million times, you basically have the paladin protection spec in a nutshell (lol). However this doesn't really give you any extra functionality over a normal keybind. The next thing I'm going to do is make the macro heal a friendly if I have a friendly targeted, or if it's an enemy it will use SotR (shield of the righteous). To do this you add a conditional. This says 'only cast this spell if 'X' is true.' It looks like this (with a breakdown of the macro underneath): /cast [help] Word of Glory; [harm] Shield of the Righteous \__/ \____/\__________/\/ \____/\__________________/ verb-conditional---|---separator|----------------| -------------------ability---------conditional----Ability What this macro will do is check the status of your current target. A 'friendly'(help) value will cause my paladin to heal the target. An 'enemy'(harm) value will trigger the attack ability. If you can grasp macros thus far, you've already learned enough to make macros useful for you. Putting this on your bar will basically cut the number of keybinds you need by 1. Modifier macro commands Another handy feature you can use with macros is called a Modifier. This may sound familiar but it's possible to set a macro so that it will use a different ability or spell if you hold down control, alt, or shift. Here's a basic example: /cast [mod:alt] Seal of Truth;[mod:ctrl] Blessing of Kings;[mod:shift] Righteous Fury; Seal of Insight If you had this macro bound to 1, and you press 1, it would cast Seal of truth (and the seal picture would be on the keybind). Raw gold farms revolve around farming areas where the mobs drop a lot of gold and you also get items you can sell to vendors. The primary goal is to just generate pure gold. The most popular raw gold farm is to run all the Cataclysm raids at 25 heroic. This will net about 1.5-2.5k gold per raid, and a chance at some rare mounts. Raw gold farms are great if you don’t like interacting with the AH, dislike variance or you are in the process of building up your capital.
Level with a pet if you can because it will help keep you safe. If your pet is tanking all of the damage from the enemies you’re fighting, you won’t have to. The other reason is that pets are easier and cheaper to heal than you are. If you don’t have a pet, make sure you know how to use your defensive abilities. You can’t level quickly if you are dying all the time.
4. Is there a guild waiting for you on the target server that you are satisfied with? Often times, I have transferred to a server, made a lot of gold and quit the game out of boredom because I was without a guild. Another aspect behind this question is that often times in guilds, you can get free flasks and materials to craft goods instead of spending your own gold. This will add up in the long run, whether it's free repairs or free abyss crystals. Remember, you can always send the crystals to another toon and sell them for gold as well.

Special note: At 110 it's almost certainly worthwhile to go and immediately get your Heart of Azeroth and first piece of Azerite gear from the BfA opening quest. It doesn't take long and provides pretty high power levels. I'd then return to Legion quests until 111 or even 112, since the power of these items will increase your kill speed significantly over the scaled enemies of BfA content.

Razorfen Kraul is maybe the best zone to fill up your auction house with good transmog. It has a big selection of zone wide rare BoE drops, great green drops and an guaranteed chance for a rare BoE from the Enormous Bullfrog. The frog drop a selection of around 30 rare BoEs, most worth around 1-3k. After killing him, there is only one group after that you should kill and then you can leave the instance.


Blacksmithing is a crafting profession that uses bars obtained from melting ore to craft plate armor and weapons, as well as some assorted cosmetic items. In BfA you can currently craft armor and weapons that is item level 300 and can proc to 310. This gear does not require expulsom which is awesome as it makes it very easy to stock the items. The sale rate is really high and these items are surprisingly very good money makers.

You should equip new quest rewards when their item level starts beating out your previous set of gear. If you are currently wearing Tier 21 gear, it is best to let the quest rewards significantly beat your existing item level before using them. While a Tier bonus is worth a fair chunk of damage, the stats will quickly fall behind. Azerite gear additionally is another 1-3% per bonus, on top of raw stats.
Whatever your approach, if you use some common sense and apply yourself, you can make significant quantities of money in the game. By managing your cashflow, conserving and budgeting where you can, and investing wisely in those activities that make you money, you can become financially solvent relatively early in your career, and remain comfortably well-off (while still buying good gear) at level 80. The last farm on this list, actually I was surprised this farm eluded me for so long.  Generally speaking gnomergan is a huge confusing instance that takes some getting used to but if your a high value transmog farmer this does not scare you.  You can pull the entire instance and get access to a plethora of high value loot such a recipes, world drops, greens and even engineer supplies.  Overall this farm is shadowed by the Diremaul farm and Zulfarrak farm, but is an equal change of scenery with a wild card if you get the hot shot pilots gloves OR the mechbuilders overalls worth 400,000g and 60,000g respectively.  A pretty cool neat farm that noone really mentioned until now.
To use it as an auctioneer, send all your auctionable items from your alts to your bank alt, and organize all your auctions from this character. This saves your time spent on auction house management, focuses all your income to one character and allows for easier overview of your cash flow. Consider using an alt management addon to be able to access all information about your alts from your bank character. One such addon is Altoholic
