As always, I will monitor and update this guide as new information comes in. If I've gotten anything glaringly and completely wrong, just tell me with as much data as possible. The idea is to find the fastest possible leveling method, NOT to argue about how good or bad individuals are. If you have hard data, post it! If you have an idea, let the thread know so we can test it!
Gather your allies and descend upon massive raids to face gargantuan bosses in Uldir, a sprawling underground facility designed by the titans to research and quarantine deadly specimens that now run amok. New in Tides of Vengeance, experience the Battle of Dazar'alor, as war reaches the shores of Zuldazar, and the Alliance embarks on a daring gambit to besiege the golden pyramid and sever the Zandalari’s bond to the Horde.
Cooking is a secondary crafting profession, which is available in addition to your two main professions. It takes various food crafting materials such as meats and fish and turn them into consumable food. The consumables give statbuffs and are used by raiders and other players seeking to maximize performance. Cooking is sadly a bit lackluster in BfA. You can make gold with both the feasts and the secondary stat foods, but the profit margins have been very thin for me.
Of course this is pure speculation, but who thought the token would be beneath 200.000 Gold again? But the only thing important for you is to calculate at what point you make profit by selling the tokens again. If you consider it, you should take the risk! Worst case scenario: You have a lot of battle.net balance to spend for Gametime, mounts, pets and boosts/services!
So gibblewilt is a special NPC. He is the only NPC that drops the Foremens Vest chestpiece. Generaly this transmog is a bra-less vest – making it VERY popular in the transmog community (I play on moonguard, and are highly invested in the transmog community, so I know). Anyway, even though the drop chance is hell on high water – snagging one can yield you profits of 50,000g or more. Whats better is usually noone can be found farming him, so you can camp an alliance character nearby, and kill him ever-so-often. Hes located just outside gnomergan.
BUT NOW, all the mobs except for the odd rare or boss in a zone are always the same level as you. Every combat is exactly the same. Aggro a bad guy, he runs at you, you go through your standard spell rotation; hit 3, then 1, then 3, then 7, then 3, then 4, then 3, then 3. Then you loot the corpse. It doesnt matter what you are fighting, every combat becomes EXACTLY the same. Boring. Pointless. Meaningless. And then when you complete a level and ding? Every one of your 30,000 enemies dings at the same time and combat stays exactly the same! You gain NOTHING from leveling. It goes from exhilarating to depressing. Why even have different mobs if they will be exactly the same? The could all just be a white blob. Heck, why even have the monitor on, just blank the screen and type 3-1-3-7-3-4-3-3. You could run it on a 70's programmable calculator. Start program, type "31373433" and look at the display for what random percentage of health you have left. Repeat. Again. Again. Again.
For those interested in more details on spending wisely, and generating good cashflow, we cover a number of topics in more detail. Please note that this guide represents the accumulated wisdom of many people. You don't necessarily have to do all of these things--there is no one "right" way to make and manage money. However, these pointers will give you ideas on how to establish a firm financial foundation for your character.
Always check each of the prices of the item, and look over a spread of several days. This is not so important on small items, but anything that you are spending hundreds of gold on you need to check prices carefully. It is also a good idea to check a website such as Allakhazam, Goblin Workshop, Wowhead or WoWuction to see what an item normally sells for.
In addition, you'll want to pick up leg and shoulder enchants and have them in your bags. These enchants have a level requirement of 80/85, but can't be placed on items above iLVL 136. You can get around this by having a level 85-100 character apply the enchant before mailing it to the character you're leveling, thus getting use of the enchants before level 85. I've personally confirmed that this works.

Make sure you have the two Flight-Path toys purchased, as this can save you time. It won't have EVERY flight path, but will have major locations for faster travel if you need to switch zones entirely(which you will). If you buy the toys on one faction, it unlocks for the other faction as well. So don't spend double the gold! These toys can be found at the heirloom vendor(Undercity for Horde, Ironforge for Alliance)

If you just want the short version of this review, Zygor Guides are the best WoW leveling guides. Period. They’ve been around since 2007, and are always kept up to date and improved, and they have tons of features that set them apart from the competition, not to mention a streamlined leveling path and slick user interface. It’s no wonder that they’re the #1 best-selling WoW guides, because they’re simply the highest quality. Updates are typically released in advance of major patches and expansions.
Nov 6 Who is this? in Westfall, there is a quest called "livin' the life" where you have to go into a cave and hide inside while you listen to a conversation between Glubtok (a boss in deadmines, who is a giant two-headed ogre) and a "Shadowy Figure"(it's a female btw), you can actualy see the figure, it looks like a priest in shadow form or something like that. In the Dead Mines dungeon, there is a worgen boss who is named admiral something dont remember, and once you kill him, he says "You will never find her, until it is too late." I believe he's talking about the shadowy figure. Just wondering but who exactly is "she" or the "shadowy figure"?Rubberchops6 Nov 6
Nov 15 new player Hi, I started the game not long ago... questing has been fun but I must say it is a bit lonely running around in a massive map with no other players around. Is it only because no one is in the starting zone any more and the place will be more populated as I go to higher level zones? (This is coming from a Destiny player and basically every zone I go there are other players and most time at least if you emote at someone random they emote back... but in WoW it just doesn't feel social at all...) Also, I have just learned to ride a mount... is there free mounts that I can perhaps farm from enemies or do I just have to buy them from the trainer? Sorry for sounding cheap but I am not exactly swimming in gold... yet? Finally... dungeons... is it better if I start running dungeons now just to familiarize with group play in WoW or should I just keep on solo questing? I'm just worried that people will just leave the instance as soon as I say I'm new.. should I find a guild and run dungeons as a pre-made team just so I can actually learn from the experience? Otherwise I imagine people just speedrun the dungeons and I'll just end up getting completely lost... Sorry for having so many questions... there is so much to learn in this game!Wackyweasel4 Nov 15
Azeroth paid a terrible price to end the apocalyptic march of the Legion's crusade—but even as the world's wounds are tended, it is the shattered trust between the Alliance and Horde that may prove hardest to mend. As this age-old conflict reignites, join your allies and champion your faction's cause—Azeroth's future will be forged in the fires of war.
Most of the players make the mistake of only listing 30-50 transmog items on the auction house and then hoping to get half of them sold until the next day. Me and a lot of other gold farmers and transmog sellers do have 3.000-10.000 items on the auction house across various realms. It does not mean you have to do it that way – but if you have 1000 items listed, chances are higher you can sell up to 10 per day. With only 100 items listed, you have to be lucky to sell one. Of course, the sells are not guaranteed if you post more items. But i’m sure you have a lot more fun if you open your mailbox and 10-20 items are sold
If you are not the leader of a high tier guild, do not worry because you can still make gold off of raids. This is the newly emerging GDKP runs that a respectable raider can put together (See why it is so important to keep a good reputation on your main toon?). Respectable raiders often take a few of their friends they can trust that have a lot of gear and bring random people along through the raid. Whenever a boss is killed, the items are auctioned for whatever base price you establish or more. You then split the money with your friends to keep everyone trying and happy, while you become richer without doing anything out of the ordinary. This seems like a perfect idea that can not fail, but it still has its risks. The tips below will help maximize the potential of the GDKP run.
Footholds into enemy territories can be done as you grow in levels and should be completed before reaching Level 120. Take the time after completing your first zone to do your first foothold, or you can choose to complete one as soon as you gather your 100 War Resources which will prompt you to return to your mission table area where the first foothold quest can be obtained. Similar to how your initial zone selection was largely irrelevant, this selection is, as well. Simply pick one and complete it to earn your Mission Table second champion. Send your champions out on missions, recruit troops, and then head back out to quest in your second zone selection.
Island Expeditions: 3-Player co-op with optional 3v3 gameplay. Players will explore uncharted isles across the Great Sea. There is azerite and other unclaimed resources bubbling to the surface that is highly sought by both factions. Complete varied and dynamic objectives with a large variety of challenges to overcome. Race against advanced AI opponents designed to thwart players using tactical and strategic moves that consistently change. Optionally, players can choose to race against other players, creating a 3v3 PvP environment.
Don't put all your eggs in one basket. It's a lot better to spend your working capital on buying forty items for auction, each with the potential for profit, than to take all your working capital and invest it in that one purple leatherworking recipe that you hope will make you several hundred gold. If that puppy doesn't sell, or doesn't sell for what you want, you've just wasted all your working money, and deprived yourself of a lot of flexibility. Leave speculating on purple items until you have a few thousand gold squirreled away.
Kul Tiras is an ancient island nation belonging to a group of humans who isolated themselves from the Alliance after it felt they had been abandoned by it. A veteran of the early wars with the orcs, the leader of Kul Tiras, Daelin Proudmoore, had led his dominating navy against the new Horde. His own daughter, Jaina, stepped aside and allowed the Horde to kill Daelin. She had wanted to prevent a genocide of the new Horde, after their help had secured victory against the Legion in Warcraft 3.
Nearly all quests offer cash or items as a reward, and often both. While completing quests shouldn't be your main form of wealth generation, it is something you are going to do anyway. The key to making the most of quests is picking your reward items wisely. Don't always pick the item that most fits your class - if it isn't demonstrably better than your current item, instead go for whatever reward sells for the greatest amount to the vendor. You can select the in-game interface option to display it in the tooltip. In general, if you can't use a quest reward for your character, pick either a plate-armor or melee weapon as your reward--these tend to sell to vendors for more than other items.
These books cost 1.000 Gold each and are sold from your BfA gathering profession trainer. As soon as you re-learned your farming profession, use this book and you will get back all of your lost Battle for Azeroth gathering ranks. Your gathering skill remains reset at 1, but you don’t have to care about that since you have your ranks back – thats literally all that matters.
So tonight I took the plunge and thought hey let me buy a Zygor Guides subscription to see how it is. A guide backed by a subscriber base paying for a premium experience this has to be great right? I was wrong. I tested it by loading it up on the Honorboud Rep Guide. Cool it tells me to do World Quests and Island Expeditions. So far so good but hang on... What about the Wanted Quests? Those are by far the biggest boost to reputation. It did not mention them at all. So I thought that's fine it's probably because BFA is quite new. Loaded up a leveling guide on an alt. It was a complete mess. The guide was telling me to accept quests that A) would be horribly inefficient to level with and B) I already done. I also started noticing weird performance issues. Zygor was causing stuttering and FPS dips like crazy. So to close off I requested a refund and the person I spoke to did say I'll be getting one but we will see if that happens. Not getting my hopes up.
This tutorial will ensure that the beginning of your journey will be a smooth one. It provides information that will help you find your way when you get lost, as well as tips that will offer guidance and advice as you march on towards greatness. It is not an exhaustive guide, however; it neither can nor wants to unveil every secret of Azeroth to you. That glorious task is left up to you as you explore the world yourself. Think of this guide as a touchstone for your early adventures: enough to get started, but too little to spoil any of the awesome surprises that await you in Azeroth.
Changes are also made in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth for PC to levelling in content released prior to Warlords of Draenor. The level-scaling tech introduced in Legion is not only continued in the new continents of Kul Tiras and Zandalar, but are also applied to content from prior expansions, allowing larger level brackets for lower level zones. Some examples include a zone like Westfall having its level bracket (at 10-15 as of Legion) increased to 10-60, whilst continents such as Outland and Northrend will now share a 60-80 level bracket. The aim of this change in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, is to encourage more player choice whilst levelling and to allow players to experience the full story of a particular zone without overlevelling the relevant quests. Level scaling was made available with Legion’s 7.3.5 patch.
From the above review, a lot has been said about the Zygor Guide. Many gamers are impressed by its simplicity, versatility, user-friendliness, and automated approach. On the other hand, some players find the guide more suited for advanced players. Also, it does not cover dungeons and battlegrounds. In summary, although the guide is not perfect, its pros greatly outweigh the cons. Majority of the users have given a “thumb up” to the guide. This should probably clear any doubt concerning its effectiveness. However, you can always first test the trial guide. All-in-all, Zygor Guides will certainly make leveling easy and more convenient.
Similar items to peacebloom that are profitable on most servers for people getting started include: Hypnotic dust, Celestial Essences, Relics of Ulduar (and other rep items), and heavenly shards. The same can be said with the earlier wrath enchanting mats, they are still valuable for casual players or those without a lot of disposable income! This list is not the end all be all of making quick money! Check your scan results daily and add to this list and you will be on your way to hitting the gold cap much faster than those who quest or farm!
Also get the Heirloom Mount. Being able to have basic riding speed from the beginning will save you a lot of time if you're starting from level 1. Allied races start at 20, so this is a non-issue for them. It's important to note that Pandaren can not use this mount until they finish their starting zone and pick a faction. Being Horde or Alliance is a requirement of the mount.
Still, it’s terrible to see the new expansion fail so spectacularly at iterating on Legion’s success. It’s hard to believe the two expansions came from the same company. Legion made you feel powerful and unique. Battle for Azeroth grinds at you by taking away as much as it gives. Sure, you can have a shiny toy. Sometimes. If you don’t get too carried away.
Kul Tirans didn't take this news lightly. The nation attributed Jaina's betrayal to the Alliance itself, and vilified Jaina as a traitor. It won't be easy for Alliance players to win over Kul Tiras to their cause. Filled with regret over how the Horde evolved, Jaina looks set to be a major character in this expansion, possibly taking up her father's old goals of eradicating the Horde.
The same goes for the level 40 mount. An elite ground mount means still-faster leveling. Not only that, but you'll get knocked off considerably less often by mobs while getting around inside zones, meaning you'll die less often as well. Remember, as the goblins are so fond of saying, "Time is money, friend!" So it behooves you to get an elite ground mount as rapidly as possible.

Aug 26 Welcome to Warcraft - Frequent Questions Hello all, and welcome to World of Warcraft! This can be a very rewarding game and offers a variety of cool experiences with the chance to meet some interesting folks. We'd all like to extend a hearty welcome to the newest members of our ever-growing community and wish you the best of luck in your gaming experience. Before we get started, one of the first questions you might be asking is why the text of certain posters is in green or blue. Green is because those posters are forum MVPs. They have no special privileges or powers and, besides the text, are in no way different from many posters you might meet on these forums. MVPs are recognized by Blizzard for providing consistently accurate information and helping to maintain a positive atmosphere on the forums. This, of course, does not preclude some of them from being a little snarky and sarcastic at times! You will also notice posters that represent themselves with blue font. These are official representatives that work for Blizzard. They do have the ability to answer many questions and offer some bans when the situation warrants it. More information about these two can be found in the first sticky on the General Forums, as well as links to the forum Guidelines and Code of Conduct: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/20749397405 Moving on! While Warcraft can be a very exciting experience, there are likely many questions you will ask along the way and a few problems you might run into. Fear not, for all the people who post in these forums (whether they'd like to admit it or not!) were in the same boat at one point or another. In fact, you might even see some of them come in here and ask questions of their own! Take this as a sign that not everyone knows everything about the game! Then 8.0 came along and turned everything on its head. Most of the techniques and shortcuts discovered, after 7.3.5 introduced scaling, were nerfed into oblivion. Many of the old techniques were confirmed by myself, first hand, to no longer work. I'm hoping that this thread can serve a similar purpose as the old thread, and gather as much data as possible on the fastest methods under the new system, and facilitate as many different perspectives and opinions on speed leveling with constructive discussion. I've just finished leveling to 110 under 8.1 with the exp curve.
