This is cumulative, as you take into account each failed sale as a loss. In the event too many deposits accumulate, you must decide whether to continue selling the item inflated by too many sales or finding of another way to dispose of it. One final tip: when you find that an item fails to sell in one AH, selling it on the other may finally dispose of it and get you your earnings.
As the war in Azeroth rages on, the champions of the Horde and the Alliance look to their in-game friends for help. Whether it’s levelling up for experience, gearing up for combat, or mounting up to see the world, World of Warcraft is always best enjoyed in groups, however big or small. If you have guildmates, friends, or family who haven’t been in Azeroth for a while, let them know they can play for free this weekend.
What’s worse, it’s rarely satisfying when you do make it to a new milestone in your grind to unlock the gear you need. Legion had legendary items that changed the way an ability functioned, which would also completely change the way classes played; the Azerite traits in the Battle for Azeroth are rarely as interesting. Instead, they are simply passive bonuses that, in most cases, help you do more damage without any extra effort on your part. While some classes are lucky enough to have traits that change their gameplay slightly, Blizzard has so far seemed to favor nerfing those traits out of viability for most specs.
Mechagon and Nazjatar will both be endgame experiences that draw on the best elements of previous endgame grinds: the Timeless Isle, Argus, Tanaan Jungle, and the Broken Shore. Azshara’s domain of Nazjatar will be a little more typical, while Mechagon will be “what you might expect from a gnomish paradise,” says Hazzikostas. He describes it as more sandbox-y, unpredictable, and akin to a playground. Both zones will have flying enabled.

When it comes to gold making addons, as most of you know, there is one that comes before all the rest, Tradeskill Master. This addon will help you make heaps of gold on the auctions house, and will give you a deeper understanding of your servers economy and the whole WoW economy. Learning how to use it well takes time, so read through all the info on their site and maybe watch some youtube videos on how to set up TSM. TSM will help you appraise items, sell items quickly on the AH and buy items that you can resell for a profit, amongst other things. Additionally the addon will help vendor and managing your mailbox, making this the only addon you need for gold making purposes. We will be coming back to TSM in the Auction house part of the guide.
What is it? Zygor’s Guide is an in-game addon that resides in a small window on your main screen. (See below for more.) It tracks your current quest and where you have to go next. It points the way and provides locations and tips. It even skips less useful quests and will offer to take you to the next are if you are leveling past the current one. All in all it will greatly speed up your quest leveling.

But the system offers a painful and mindless grind. At worst, it feels like a cheap and artificial wall blocking you from playing your character to its full potential. Levels of your heart come fast at first, but the costs become prohibitive when you get up into level 20 or so. This wouldn’t be an issue if the most powerful Azerite gear didn’t require reaching level 22 to unlock even 75 percent of their full damage, leaving players left out of features from gear they’ve already collected. This means more grinding.
To use it as a bank, figure out how much you want to have on-hand on your character based on how much you normally spend on repairs, food, ammo, etc. and send the rest to the bank alt. The principle here is "Out of sight, out of mind.". Money "you don't have" cannot be spent, requiring you to log out of your character, and then to log into the alt.

Hands. Down. The. Best. Whelping. Spot. Ever.  There are soo many spawns, and too many whelpings.  This spot is very close to becoming an infinite farm.  You just cant run out of targets to hit in such a confined area.  Each whelping has an 0.09 chance to drop a dark whelping – which may seem small until you realize you can easily down 40 whelps in a minute.  And by the time you finish, they will respawn.  The farm takes place at the ruins of Kargath in badlands and is usually empty.  Noone seems to visit this spot, probably because its more hit-or-miss than direct gold.  If luck finds you, you can walk away with a popular pet that's worth a pretty 14,000g
Eventually, the Alliance finishes its preparations and launches an attack on the Zandalari capital of Dazar'alor, their goal being to sever the budding alliance between the Zandalari and the Horde by dismantling the Golden Fleet and capturing King Rastakhan. Despite Anduin and Jaina's desire to capture him alive, Rastakhan is overwhelmed by the power of his pact with the Loa Bwonsamdi, and the Alliance champions are forced to slay him. Enraged by Rastakhan's death, Horde champions launch a vicious counterattack on the withdrawing Alliance forces, which ends with both Jaina and High Tinkerer Mekkatorque gravely wounded. As the Alliance leadership debates their next move, Sylvanas, infuriated by the Horde's defeat, resurrects Jaina's long dead brother Derek Proudmoore as a Forsaken, an act that horrifies the surviving Horde leaders, with the intent to use him as a sleeper agent to destroy the Proudmoore family from within.
Heart of Azeroth:[5] Our world is direly wounded. Players will be summoned via Magni Bronzebeard to Azeroth herself. She will gift players with a medallion called the [Heart of Azeroth]. Her life essence seeps from the world in the form of  [Azerite]. When players wearing the medallion come in contact with azerite, this sought after resource becomes a source of power for selected pieces of armor, providing players a way to level them up. This feature replaces the artifact system of World of Warcraft: Legion. Currently the plan of development is to limit the upgrade system to 3 pieces of armor. Players will be able to choose the stats they want to better fit their play-style.
BUT NOW, all the mobs except for the odd rare or boss in a zone are always the same level as you. Every combat is exactly the same. Aggro a bad guy, he runs at you, you go through your standard spell rotation; hit 3, then 1, then 3, then 7, then 3, then 4, then 3, then 3. Then you loot the corpse. It doesnt matter what you are fighting, every combat becomes EXACTLY the same. Boring. Pointless. Meaningless. And then when you complete a level and ding? Every one of your 30,000 enemies dings at the same time and combat stays exactly the same! You gain NOTHING from leveling. It goes from exhilarating to depressing. Why even have different mobs if they will be exactly the same? The could all just be a white blob. Heck, why even have the monitor on, just blank the screen and type 3-1-3-7-3-4-3-3. You could run it on a 70's programmable calculator. Start program, type "31373433" and look at the display for what random percentage of health you have left. Repeat. Again. Again. Again.
Two new raids coming after the initial update differ drastically in size and content, depending on which side of the war you’re on. The Battle of Dazar’alor raid sees Alliance players trying to take over a city, but if you’re part of the horde, your version will see you try to defend it. Once you’ve beaten it once, you can then play the other side. The Crucible of Storms raid, on the other hand, is smaller and only consists of two bosses.
Do quests and complete the story of your first chosen area before returning to your capital to scrap all of the equipment items you acquired. You should be around Level 113 by the time you complete your first area. Before selecting your second zone, head to your faction hub ship to acquire your introductory quests to the mission table and your champions. Complete this introduction and then pick up the quest to establish your first foothold in enemy territory.
You earn a large rested experience bonus when you log out in this rest areas. This gives you a massive 200-percent bonus to experience gain from most actions (though experience from quests isn’t included). The amount of rested experience you earn increases the longer you’re logged off, and your experience bar will be blue (instead of purple) while you have the bonus.
Nearly all quests offer cash or items as a reward, and often both. While completing quests shouldn't be your main form of wealth generation, it is something you are going to do anyway. The key to making the most of quests is picking your reward items wisely. Don't always pick the item that most fits your class - if it isn't demonstrably better than your current item, instead go for whatever reward sells for the greatest amount to the vendor. You can select the in-game interface option to display it in the tooltip. In general, if you can't use a quest reward for your character, pick either a plate-armor or melee weapon as your reward--these tend to sell to vendors for more than other items.

If you are just coming out of Level 110, you will probably have a number of different Legendary items to choose from. Your Legendaries' special effects will stop working at Level 116, but until then they can be a very powerful addition to help you level up quickly. These are our Legendary recommendations for leveling as a Arcane Mage in Battle for Azeroth:


A little bit about myself for credibility: I am a 21 year old college student and have been playing WoW since it was first released. I have three characters at the gold cap and want to share my methods with you in a way that I hope has been more clear and concise than the other guides out there. Making gold is all about finding the balance that works best on your server between all the above methods. When you find that balance, repeat, repeat, repeat, until you get the results you want. Never make any rash decisions without first consulting the economy. If you do not think you can make a for sure profit, then do not do it! Change only when necessary, because your clients become accustomed to certain practices that keep them buying from you even if under cutters offer a slightly lower price. If the customer is always right, then show that to them and you will be much more profitable!
After completing your island expedition and second foothold, head back out to your third and final zone to quest in. Note that any legendaries you were using to level have become inactive and are merely stat sticks now. Feel free to replace them with quest gear as you obtain it. Before heading out, feel free to send your three champions out on new missions!
Knowing how to use the Auction House and Mastering the Auction House are two completely different things. The difference between the two reflects entirely on how much gold you have. If you have a lot of gold then you've probably mastered it, if you don't, then you need to get this to Learn to Master it. In this module I cover some of the best kept Auction House Secrets used by the pros.

At the end of Legion, the titan Sargeras was imprisoned, but not before he plunged his sword into the planet Azeroth. This not only devastated a massive area (much of the desert zone of Silithus is now cracked and scorched), but badly wounded the gestating titan inside. While the heroes managed to ablate the worst of the damage (at the cost of the majority of their artifact weapons' mythic power), the world is still wounded and bleeding a substance called "Azerite," which has great magical potential. The Horde Warchief, Sylvanas Windrunner, attempts to consolidate Horde power on Kalimdor and gain a monopoly on Azerite (which is primarily found at the southern end of the continent). Her campaign to do so, the War of Thorns, formed a pre-launch event for the expansion and ends with the major Night Elf holdings on the continent seized or (in the case of their capital city of Darnassus) annihilated. The Alliance makes a retaliatory strike against her home base, the Undercity, which was formerly the human capital of Lordaeron. This succeeds in driving the Horde out, but before leaving Sylvanas saturates the area with disease and toxins that render it uninhabitable. With this tit-for-tat military exchange, the Horde has almost complete control over Kalimdor, while the Alliance has near-total dominion over the Eastern Kingdoms.[4] With further conflict inevitable, Battle for Azeroth takes the two factions to the continents of Kul Tiras and Zandalar to recruit new allies in order to turn the tides of war.[4]
A cool little pet farm that can take minutes or ages depending on the god of luck.  This spot contains some of the most dense troll spawns in the game, and each has the highest chance to drop the parrot pet thats soo sought after.  On every serve rthis per has  amedian value of about 70,000g so picking one up can be a pretty cool feat.  Like the sprite darter hatchling spot its, a random farming spot that requires alot of RNG to pull off, but if you get it to drop you can make out in spades.  The other drops are miniscule when compared to this spot.

There’s a lot of #content in the new expansion. It’s mostly locked behind a variety of gates, some of which players can’t even control. Warfronts are the best example. You might assume joining a Warfront is a simple matter of opening the group finder. Wrong! Warfronts are only accessible for a week at a time. It’s not precisely clear how often that week will come around (it’s based both on a time gate and on the opposing faction gathering resources) but, as of right now, it looks likely to be available just one week out of every four.
World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is the seventh expansion pack for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft, following Legion. It was announced at BlizzCon on November 3, 2017. In contrast to previous expansions, which went live at midnight in each time zone, Battle for Azeroth had a simultaneous release for all regions, corresponding to midnight Central European Summer Time on August 14, 2018.[1][2][3]

Similar items to peacebloom that are profitable on most servers for people getting started include: Hypnotic dust, Celestial Essences, Relics of Ulduar (and other rep items), and heavenly shards. The same can be said with the earlier wrath enchanting mats, they are still valuable for casual players or those without a lot of disposable income! This list is not the end all be all of making quick money! Check your scan results daily and add to this list and you will be on your way to hitting the gold cap much faster than those who quest or farm!
You can earn a decent amount of XP by doing Herbalism or mining. Any zone works but I prefer Sholazar Basin as a lot of the mobs are not aggressive and the mobs are spread out so you will find a lot of herbs and ore that you don’t have to fight for. It is possible to make about a level every hour by doing this, or a level every 30-40 minutes with rest XP.
With the excitement of becoming Level 120 come a lot of new activities to do. However, it is particularly important to note that you should continue to complete the story mode quests. You will undoubtedly achieve Level 120 before completing your third zone, so be sure to head back and finish the story quests as they are important to unlocking game content as well as pushing your reputation levels even higher. Each zone comes with a lot of side quests that can be ignored at first as you push your item level up, complete emissaries, and do dungeons, but when you have some time, be sure to wrap up all of the quest lines in each zone to maximize your reputation potential. Reputation is the gateway to all things in Battle for Azeroth, so quest away! Be sure to use our Quest Completion Checker tool here at Icy Veins to see if there are any missed quests in any of the zones for you to go back and complete!
If you can answer all of those questions with yes, then you are in a position to make a lot of gold! You can continue doing every step to get to the gold cap as quickly as possible. The security achieved through this can buy you virtually anything you desire in the game, including achievements that would otherwise be impossible on your own, which leads us to the final gold making tip - Selling achievements. If you are the leader or officer in a guild, you can take good acquaintances on your raids with you for achievements like finishing ICC or any other hard raid achievements that your guild finds easy and manageable. I have seen achievements go for 20k+ if you find the right client! This is very situational, however, and is by no means necessary to hit the gold cap, it just helps!
There's a good chance you can buy the raw materials for 25% - 75% of the going rate of the finished item, or mine them for free. The fee for an 8 hour auction is only 1 silver, so you can afford to re-auction rods that don't sell the first time. Be careful of making too many rods or other parts of a kind at once, though, as you may get stuck with them for a long time when others produce the same item and set a cheaper price to it.
Allied races aren’t much better. You can only earn them by grinding out reputation. It doesn’t take that long but casual players will need to invest a couple weeks primarily to it, and focusing on that grind will take you away from others, like earning gear. Each race has its own grind, but the things you do to work through it remain the same, adding to your boredom.

I made some route changes to the Horde levels 43-44 sections.  I have swapped 44 Dustwallow Marsh with 44 Desolace (the entire sections). This allowed me to do Deadmire (at lvl 43 instead of 38) and then go stop at TB to turn in Deadmire + The Black Shield at the same time, then fly quickly to do the Desolace stuff.  Doing 44 Desolace is now mandatory because I think its faster with the new routes. This will also make the level 53 grind much shorter.  I think these were great changes.
Most people come here not to read walls of text, they look for the better-rated strategies that match their pet collections, copy&paste stuff they need to import into their addons and only come back if something goes horribly wrong and then mostly to find help in other peoples' comments who also struggled or to find a different team/strategy: I don't think many people wanna read about stuff that already happened to them, they mostly want to see solutions and it's the best way to have them in a well-optimized strategy&team already.
Warfronts are larger, 20-man challenges that take inspiration from the Warcraft strategy games. Players are deployed on the Warfront to collect resources, destroy enemy troops, construct buildings, and eventually launch an assault to take over the enemy base. These battles take 20 to 40 minutes to complete and, unlike Island Expeditions, don’t offer a PvP mode.
In 2019, World of Warcraft is attempting the careful balancing act of maintaining a social space for players, single-player campaign content, dungeons and raids, and daily activities and progression. All of these activities tie into advancing the player’s character, growing stronger and unlocking new abilities. Patch 8.2, aka Rise of Azshara, is the largest content patch in World of Warcraft yet, and it’s meant to shore up the weaknesses of Battle for Azeroth.
If there would be a transmog server #1, all transmog vendors would transfer there and the market would get destroyed fairly quick. In general, Roleplay-Servers like Argent Dawn or The Aldor are better server for selling transmog. On high pop servers you have a lot of other players selling stuff and as a result, low prices. On low pop servers prices are acceptable, but you have no buyers. So there is not recommendation for a server really. Its up to you.
Most classes in World of Warcraft start at first level, but Death Knights and Demon Hunters are exceptions. They start at level 55 and 98, respectively. This alone can shave a huge chunk of time from your leveling experience. Of course, it only works if you want to play a Death Knight or Demon Hunter, but they’re both solid classics that can dish out damage or tank in a group.
