The most important step in being able to buy a mount and make other large purchases should be self-evident: saving. Economize as often as you can, and don't buy anything unless you absolutely have to. You can burn through hundreds of gold even before level 20 by visiting the auction house for new equipment at every opportunity. If you do so, over the long haul you will be left with very little to show for it. Before level 20, keep your eyes on the prize: getting that mount. The mount helps you move faster. Faster movement means faster killing, faster questing, faster quest turn-ins, and faster leveling. It is the most important tool to fast leveling you can get at level 20, and infinitely more important than getting your hands on that Left-Handed Vorpal Cleaver of the Zipswitch that you could have purchased at level 23. Stay focused.
This farm is a cool rogue only spot that is more hit or miss rather than a direct gold farm.  Generally we'll be picking pockets for the item Decaherdral Dice.  It's a rare pickpocket drop that ranges anywhere between 28,000 and 35,000g.  The good news is, this spot has soo many mobs that it's literally impossible to run out of mobs to pickpocket, and when you kill them (which you will eventually)  they have fast respawn times.  Within 20 minutes I was able to snag one of these cool toys in the video.  They seem to be rare and have very high selling points.
As for Battle for Azeroth’s lack of new 120 talents, Hazzikostas explains it as a tough scenario. If the designers come up with three new abilities for rogue or death knights, those classes may not necessarily need three new abilities. Those abilities may be filler, or they may shore up a weakness in the class design and remove counterplay. That being said, Hazzikostas does agree that “it’s possible we’ve gone too far.”

It's hard to step out of the shadow of Legion, which was utterly fantastic in almost every way, to enter an expansion where you get one item per boss in the last expansion because the rules have been changed to force more grinding, where you have to grind reputation in the old expansion that you probably skipped because rep grinds suck JUST to unlock allied races (who aren't fully unique races since they recycle old content such as animations), where questing has SOMEHOW become boring again and where your new abilities are given by items you'll swap out every level, meanwhile being only boring passive effects no one cares about.

Mechagon and Nazjatar will both be endgame experiences that draw on the best elements of previous endgame grinds: the Timeless Isle, Argus, Tanaan Jungle, and the Broken Shore. Azshara’s domain of Nazjatar will be a little more typical, while Mechagon will be “what you might expect from a gnomish paradise,” says Hazzikostas. He describes it as more sandbox-y, unpredictable, and akin to a playground. Both zones will have flying enabled.

Most classes in World of Warcraft start at first level, but Death Knights and Demon Hunters are exceptions. They start at level 55 and 98, respectively. This alone can shave a huge chunk of time from your leveling experience. Of course, it only works if you want to play a Death Knight or Demon Hunter, but they’re both solid classics that can dish out damage or tank in a group.
Island expeditions are very easy to complete while leveling, particularly before hitting Level 116 when your legendaries are still in effect and your secondary stats have not been squished by leveling scaling yet. Island expeditions can be completed in 5 to 10 minutes relatively reliably while also acquiring some of the pets, mounts, and Bind-on-Equip gear available. There is also one weekly quest to do one island expedition, so for slowly leveling alternative characters, be sure to complete at least one island expedition each week.
Why don’t you go for a Guiness World Record? (The answer is that I applied for the World Record as Richest Player in World of Warcraft in November 2015 but they “do not invite proactive applications for records such as the one you are proposing” and suggested I go for “world’s longest Warcraft livestream” instead. Unless low quality items have some known quest use or are coveted by other players, you should try to sell it as soon as possible to create bag space. Always (or almost always, see above exceptions) keep things like cloth, leather, herbs, or large stacks of white/gray items over other loot when you have to decide what to keep when your bags get full. This saves your time spent on auction house management, focuses all your income to one character and allows for easier overview of your cash flow. What’s worse, it’s rarely satisfying when you do make it to a new milestone in your grind to unlock the gear you need. Legion had legendary items that changed the way an ability functioned, which would also completely change the way classes played; the Azerite traits in the Battle for Azeroth are rarely as interesting. Instead, they are simply passive bonuses that, in most cases, help you do more damage without any extra effort on your part. While some classes are lucky enough to have traits that change their gameplay slightly, Blizzard has so far seemed to favor nerfing those traits out of viability for most specs.
Each pet has 3 abilities it can use during a battle, but a total of 6 to choose from. They will also have a total of 3 active spell slots that show which abilities can be used during a Pet Battle. The first spell slot will already be unlocked, but the second and third will only become available once the companion has reached a certain level. Other spells will also unlock after reaching higher levels.
One thing to realize is that once you hit 15 you have a lot more options for speedy leveling. Right now (you seem to be level 9 at the time of this writing) you only have questing and grinding, which are inefficient. Once you get the ability to use the Random Dungeon Finder (often called LFD, Looking for Dungeon) you can queue for dungeons in between questing. Often one dungeon, up until 25 or so, will give you most of a whole level off the XP and quests within.
Keep in mind that these quests are optional, and are not necessary to continue leveling and capturing companions. They are also account-wide, so if you complete the quest chain on one character, you will not be able to complete it again on another. However, any progress that you've made will be saved and you can pick up where you left off in the quest chain on another character. The dailies that you've unlocked will also be accessible by all your toons.

It tells me the price, an item was posted on all EU realms in the last 14 days. Why not DBMarket? DBMarket only shows you the items value from your server in the last 14 days. This value often gets manipulated. Some people start to post an item with a 500g value for 500.000 Gold on the auction house for several weaks. As a consequence, DBMarket is rising towards 500.000 Gold.  If you use DBMarket with 100% and post your item for 500.000 Gold, nobody will buy it.

The Alliance are able to unlock the void elves (exiled blood elves who can tap into shadow magic, trained by Alleria Windrunner after her experiences on Argus), Lightforged draenei (draenei members of the Army of the Light who fought the Legion on Argus), Dark Iron dwarves (fire-blooded cousins of the in-game dwarves of Ironforge), and Kul Tiran humans (larger, more heavyset versions of the in-game humans of Stormwind).[6]
Here's the first of my 3 top legion skinning farms.  They are my favorite for a reason – with the right skinning perks, you can make thousands more gold than the average farmer.  Overall, these are the most profitable legion farming spots, period.  With the oddly shaped stomachs drops you can get access to leylight shards, leystone ore, and felslate along with a variety of other highly-liquidable trade goods to boot.  In order to get these tiny treasure chest like stomachs to drop, you need to get your hands on the gutting perk, which can be purchased by trading 250 sightless eyes at the quartermaster in the dalaran sewers.  On the other hand the butchered meat drops will award stormscale and stonehide leather, making these skinning spots some of the most gold healthy spots in the entire game.  I hope you all jump on this.
