Jewelcrafting also offers players the Prospecting ability; players can break down most Mining ores to find gems used in Jewelcrafting. The Enchantrix addon can calculate the prospecting value of an ore, and when combined with the Auctioneer addon, you can compare the prospect value to the ore's value and determine whether it has a fair chance of producing a profit. It's hard to step out of the shadow of Legion, which was utterly fantastic in almost every way, to enter an expansion where you get one item per boss in the last expansion because the rules have been changed to force more grinding, where you have to grind reputation in the old expansion that you probably skipped because rep grinds suck JUST to unlock allied races (who aren't fully unique races since they recycle old content such as animations), where questing has SOMEHOW become boring again and where your new abilities are given by items you'll swap out every level, meanwhile being only boring passive effects no one cares about.


Level 120 comes and goes. Island Expeditions have unlocked, but it turns out they’re not much fun, and the most rewarding versions are only accessible to premade groups. You turn to Warfronts only to realize they’re not available this week. Fine. You can always grind out better gear. Except as you do, you notice your new gear has higher Azerite requirements than your old gear, which means your shiny new items have fewer unlocked traits than what they replaced. Discouraged, you decide to roll as one of the cool new Allied Races. Except you can’t because they’re all locked behind reputation grinds.
Heirlooms: Heirlooms are the best source of bonus XP for leveling. All slots can be gotten pretty easily now, except the rings. The time you need to spend to get the rings if you haven’t gotten a level 3 shipyard in WoW is way too long, so getting the rings is generally not worth it. Having all your heirloom gear will boost XP by 55%. Generally, you want heirloom gear with crit on for leveling as you want to kill mobs in a few hits as possible
If you already have a high-level character and want to quickly level up a new one, by far the best tools for the job are the items labeled “heirloom gear.” These pieces of gear have two very special properties — they bind to your account, so any character you own can use them, and they grant bonus experience. Their stats also scale with your character’s level up to a certain point, so you can equip a fresh character with heirloom gear and power through much of the game.
There are times when you will be fighting things a couple of levels higher than your character. This is easy enough for some, but others might find that they need to be a bit more careful. If you let yourself get a couple of levels ahead of the guide then this ceases to be an issue. If you look through the configuration options you’ll see a place to set your difficulty rating.
This farm almost did not make this list. Even though I have had only a little luck with it, it seems to be gathering some popularity in the gold farming community.  Although I feel with the recent changes in 7.3,  this farm is very close to dying out.  Generally what you want to to do is pull every mob you can as you venture to the last boss in the instance.  The only saving grace of this farm (if you can call it that) is that some mobs are GUARANTEED to drop greens.  Guaranteed.  Whether or not they drop profitable greens is a different question, however it's a must-mention quirk you get from running this instance.  It also allows you to get your hands on some rare low level blues.

1 of my 3 polymorph tome spots.  This spot requires a high level mage character (the tome will only drop for mages), and can also be done with the potion of luck for a quick boost to profits.  Generally the kurzen monkeys in this spot have the highest chance to drop the Tome of Polymorh: Monkey – and the best part is they drop it often.  Always check your AH before deciding to farm this spot.  If theres not to many, then give it a try.  In the video I actually got more than one to drop.  It's the cheapest of the tomes, and consequentially the easiest to farm.  Again, you MUST be a mage.

Nearly all quests offer cash or items as a reward, and often both. While completing quests shouldn't be your main form of wealth generation, it is something you are going to do anyway. The key to making the most of quests is picking your reward items wisely. Don't always pick the item that most fits your class - if it isn't demonstrably better than your current item, instead go for whatever reward sells for the greatest amount to the vendor. You can select the in-game interface option to display it in the tooltip. In general, if you can't use a quest reward for your character, pick either a plate-armor or melee weapon as your reward--these tend to sell to vendors for more than other items.
The NPC scan and NPC alert method is an awesome way to build a stock of rare BOE items simply because you don't really have to try.  By installing NPC scan and NPC alerts, you can literally just fly over anywhere and be alerted when you pass a rare spawn.  As we all know, rare spawn loot tends to have higher item vales, as not everyone is able to consistently farm them.  Some NPC's, especially those in outlands have those higher item values when compared to the rest of the world.  As a goldmaking method I just everyone should be doing this.  It only requires you download two addons and you can get access to important NPC,s that you would otherwise never knew existed.  The opportunities are endless, I would generally never play without these cool addons.  Realy cool.
I’ve been a WoW player now since Beta and had a few toons that I always max leveled and played on a regular basis. I loved my other toons (have 1 of each class) but the quest/level grinds were beginning to get to me and soon they fell by the wayside of my play time. I started with Dailies and Events guide and once I started seeing how good the app was, I’ve never turned back and picked up all the Alliance mods. I’m now almost fully level 85’s with all my toons. Only 1 level on my hunter and 4 levels on my warrior until I’m done.

White items have some use such as tradeskills, spell reagents or reputation raisers, so you may want to check to see if they're worth more than the vendor price.
