Aaron "Sours" Shaffer is a former competitor who played Hunter in the second Tespa Great Collegiate Dungeon Race in 2016 and MDI 2017. He then transitioned into casting, helping to bring North American and Chinese MDI to your screens, as well as taking on a role as an analyst at the first ever MDI LAN. He hopes to help highlight the skill and talent of the world’s best dungeon runners. His advice to the competitors is to "focus on your own game—it's not about who makes the first mistake in a race, it's about who makes the last". This farm very much resembles the Dire Maul farm in that it allows you to hit multiple markets without having to do too much.  You can mageweave, runecloth, greens, world drops, and herbs all from this one single spot with the addition of countless transmog items.  I personally love this spot – however I feel I stumbled upon it a little to late.  The benefits is that this is the LARGEST instance in the entire game – literally.  You can spend up to 15 minutes pulling the entire instance.  You are rewarded however with an abundance of drops of all kinds. You can quickly fill up your inventory here.  If you need greens form the 47-51 area, this is your spot.  As mentioned, you will also get soo many trade goods that it's hard not to fill even the biggest of bags.

I took one of your tips today and went for it, and I made 8,000 gold in less than an hour, with almost NO work involved. Anyway, however you choose to get to the addon's menu, choose guide list and then pick the zone you want to quest in. There are some zones that will autoselect based on quests in your log, but not all guides or all quests are set up that way. (If you don't want to switch to a guide that auto-pops up choose "not now" or "never") As you can see in the screenshot, there are various categories of guides. Most max level content (such as Argus) is found in Achievements rather than leveling.

Heart of Azeroth:[5] Our world is direly wounded. Players will be summoned via Magni Bronzebeard to Azeroth herself. She will gift players with a medallion called the [Heart of Azeroth]. Her life essence seeps from the world in the form of  [Azerite]. When players wearing the medallion come in contact with azerite, this sought after resource becomes a source of power for selected pieces of armor, providing players a way to level them up. This feature replaces the artifact system of World of Warcraft: Legion. Currently the plan of development is to limit the upgrade system to 3 pieces of armor. Players will be able to choose the stats they want to better fit their play-style.
But the system offers a painful and mindless grind. At worst, it feels like a cheap and artificial wall blocking you from playing your character to its full potential. Levels of your heart come fast at first, but the costs become prohibitive when you get up into level 20 or so. This wouldn’t be an issue if the most powerful Azerite gear didn’t require reaching level 22 to unlock even 75 percent of their full damage, leaving players left out of features from gear they’ve already collected. This means more grinding.

Herbalism is also a good source of money. Herbs are required by alchemists and scribes. Unlike ore which is found only in rocky areas, herbs can be found in many places. Be sure to check on the auction house for what herbs are in demand for a high value; often a lower level one is very valuable, so you can farm an area you already know for quick money.

The vanilla WoW Horde leveling guide you see on this site was originally made back in 2006 by Joana (AKA Mancow, or FuriousPaul).  The guides have been tweaked many times over the years to make things "faster".  The leveling guides were made because of all the messages I got from people asking me how I was able to level up so quickly on new realms.  I was first to level 60 on 7 different realms (3 with Mancow and 4 with Joana), even winning Blizzard's "First to Level 50" contest they held back in 2006.
Some dungeons are also much better than other. Some take a long time to finish and some are quick. Some have few quests and others have many. The ideal dungeons have a lot of quests and are quick to finish. If you are sent to a long dungeon that you have already completed, you can leave but you won’t be able to enter a new dungeon in 30 minutes. Dungeons like the Stockade are super quick, so it will still be good XP if you are sent here more than once.

That being said, there are occasions when a little kindness is not unwarranted. A typical example is a new player who just dinged level 20. They are suddenly confronted with a whole set of relatively expensive skills at his or her class trainer, and the cost of mount and riding training, and needs a small amount of money to learn those new skills. Likewise, sometimes one sees a player who, just by the way he or she walks, is clearly a new player. Kindness to non-whiny, well-intentioned, legitimately inquisitive newbies is karmically rewarding, and one should not worry about shelling out an occasional boon to such players. Remember, at that level, a few gold can go a long way. Heck, even a few older bags that you have lying around collecting dust in your vault will often be much appreciated.


Tiragarde Sound and Stormsong Valley are both fairly similar zones, but Stormsong is a little longer, meaning that you might not even have to finish it to hit 120. Tiragarde also comes with a bit of a warning. There are plenty of side quests to do in the zone after you finish the story quests. Don’t do them. It’s not worth the time or the experience you’ll get.

It's a lot better to spend your working capital on buying forty items for auction, each with the potential for profit, than to take all your working capital and invest it in that one purple leatherworking recipe that you hope will make you several hundred gold. If that puppy doesn't sell, or doesn't sell for what you want, you've just wasted all your working money, and deprived yourself of a lot of flexibility. Leave speculating on purple items until you have a few thousand gold squirreled away.

While the big NPCs of Battle for Azeroth have had plenty to do, the role of the player in the narrative is odder than ever. In the vanilla game, adventurers were faceless members of a larger army. We participated in great battles, but we were mostly there to shoot and loot. Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King elevated the player, having NPCs marvel at us and thank us for our service. Later, in Legion, I became the Highlord of the Silver Hand and worked side by side with the biggest characters in Warcraft lore. I’ve run a garrison, saved the world, and I now hang out with the High King of the Alliance constantly.
Island Expeditions are three-man scenarios that pit the team against three enemies using what Blizzard calls “advanced A.I.” That means the enemies will act more like players, pursuing goals proactively and filling class roles. The expeditions take inspiration from action RPGs, with randomized areas that mix up the experience each time. Players’ main goal will be obtaining resources more quickly than their foes, and expeditions should last 15 to 20 minutes. While primarily meant for PvE, there is a PvP mode that replaces the opposing A.I. with teams from the enemy faction.
In player vs. player designated zones, you will still be viewable and attackable by players, but you are not left completely defenseless. While engaged in a Pet Battle, any attack from another player will break you out of the battle. You will receive a 3 second damage shield that will absorb 50% of incoming attacks. The same exact wild pet that you were previously battling will respawn after you come out of combat with the other player. However, if you defeated the primary pet in battle prior to leaving the match, the pet and its team will not respawn.

First of all, the value of transmog is decided by rarity and how they look. Some items like Minenarbeithut der Tiefen or Pendel der Verdammnis (they can drop in Uldaman) are worth millions of gold. They are worth so much, because they have a really small chance to drop. Other items are bought well because they look good. Best example in this case is the Glorious set, its legplates Glorreichen Beinplatte reach a 100.000 Gold value easily.
When hovering over an ability, the tooltip will tell you whether or not that attack is weak or strong against certain pet types. Additionally, you can hover over the opposing team's pets and view their attacks during combat. This will be important since it’s a good idea to pit a pet that's strong against the opponent's pet who's vulnerable to that type.
The guide should advance to the point where you are in the zone's progression. There are a few steps that can-not autocomplete and they should (hopefully) have comments to the effect of -- you need to manually check this step off. -- For some reason you have to click these steps off 2-3 times to work. (the first time will move the tom-tom arrow, the 2nd time unchecks it and the 3rd click advances the guide).

I think you are referring to the Env Bert strat I have linked. Basically I agree. But you might have noticed that I already had added min power to pet #2, in order to exclude some of the substitutes. Though, I didn’t wan’t to do the same with the Blazehaound (pet #1), because I think the strat is doable also with a suboptimal breed. But maybe you are right and I should just exclude any non-P/P breeds.
The old popular example was the http://www.wowhead.com/item=47257. This item differed on my server from a high of 6k to a low of about 3k. When the price was down at 3k, I would buy a few of these and just wait a week. Throughout the week, I would put in trade and the auction house that I wanted 6k for it. I would then immediately go onto an alt and say that I only wanted 5200g. Sometimes, I would get the 5200g and be a very happy man, other times it would take more patience. However, almost always, by the end of the week, the other sellers had reposted for around what I wanted. This gave me a huge advantage. Now, the price ceiling was no longer 3k on the auction house, but 5k. I could now easily sell the few I bought for 4 or 4.5k, which is a huge 50% profit from the 3k I originally invested.
I like his recommendations 2 level 1-20 zones to get to 20, then do all the 2nd zones since they are designed for walking (Horde: Northern Barrens, Silverpine Forest, Ghostlands, Azshara, & Hillsbrad Foothills if you need a little more. Alliance: Westfall, Loch Modan, Darkshore, Bloodmyst Isle, and if you need a little more Redridge Mtns, or Duskwood). Don't even bother with the higher level areas, too spread out. The problems with Battle for Azeroth’s endgame come from the systems it adds, which most often artificially gate progress where most of the fun can be found. Okay, speaking of pet farms this one is a really unique farm.  What we're looking for is the carrier cage : black tabby.  This is a very sought after pet for both horde and alliance – which is why its price competitively at 55,000g.  The farm takes place in Hillsbrad Foothills on a peninsula like piece of land just northwest of the yeti caves.  There will be dozens of stormpike engineers surrounding ballistas that only horde characters can kill.  However, that doesn't mean alliance polayers can't do this farm (im alliance myself).  All you need to do is to create a class trial (monk is the best) and send him over to the grinding spot.  Use the black ox statue to attract the mobs, and easily maul them down group by group.  If luck is on your side, you can make out with an awesome black tabby carrier.

With G'huun's threat eliminated, the Horde and Alliance return their focus to the war.
