This expansion suffers from the Warlords of Draenor (WoD) effect, initially, players will think this is a great expansion but upon investing some time into the game they'll realize this game is a disaster. The pre-patch should have been our first warning with how poorly designed and executed that fiasco was, but beyond that, let's look at what the expansion itself offers:
Patch 8.1.5 Hotfixes: April 2nd Here come this week's premiere hotfixes, with a solid amount to see. Talanji is no longer speeding her ascension up and will be a Princess long enough for players to be able to complete quests, Azerite Knowledge is back as previously announced, the Brawler's Guild got some fixes as well, Twitter integration is back and more. The expansion is set immediately after the events of Legion.[4] Two continents have been added within the Great Sea between the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor: Kul Tiras, one of the major human kingdoms, and Zandalar, the homeland of Azeroth's trolls.[4] While the Alliance and Horde will initially travel to one continent respectively, both continents will be available to both factions at level 120.[4]

Once your character makes it to Outland and beyond, cashflow frees up considerably. The quest rewards are much better than in Azeroth. In fact, a typical character will earn from 1000-1200 in quest rewards and vendor trash while leveling 60-70 in Outland, and perhaps 1400-1600 from 70-80 in Northrend. The tendency is, therefore, to spend more freely after one hits 60. However, it is important for players not to go crazy on their spending once they make it to Hellfire. One thing is, training costs, repair costs, and consumable costs are also higher. More important, there is a large purchase that you are going to want to make at some point after level 60, your first flying mount and skill. The "bird" costs 40, the skill will cost you far more. Not only that, but if you want to fly it in Northrend at level 70, you'll have to shell out another 400 for Cold Weather Flying. And for those characters who will be 'farming' herbs or ore in either Outland or Northrend, an elite flying mount is almost essential, as it helps you gather almost twice as fast. That's another 5000 you'll be looking at. Therefore, budgeting carefully during the 60-80 leveling process is essential to ensuring you have sufficient cash on hand for making those purchases. Saving your pennies early makes that bird appear that much sooner.
-PvP- Completely broken for some classes and I mean broken going from both sides of the spectrum, from classes destroying everyone, to classes that can't even kill another player. It's fairly common for a weak class to lose to a powerful class even if the weak class outgears them by 50+ ilvls. That's how broken PvP is and Blizzard doesn't seem to know what to do to fix it other than do blanket damage nerfs/buffs as those are the only changes we've seen.
Back in the days of Burning Crusade, leveling up your character was a very tedious procedure. The quests were not even shown on the map, you always had to read through the quest list and figure out where to go and what to do (which mobs to kill, items to retrieve, etc.). After a few more expansions, questing became a little bit easier, due to the quest chains being more linear. You can pretty much follow the main quest storyline. Also, the map became more interactive.
-Gameplay- Gameplay has largely been stripped down to be a shell of its former self. This trimming has been going on for several expansions, but now it's even worse. Classes only have so many buttons which has resulted in very little skill involved in PvE (even PvP is a faceroll for most melee, lacking any sort of depth and decision-making as it's pretty clear what buttons to press in any given situation) and it's become more of a gear check. This expansion gave zero new abilities to classes, only took them away.
As for Battle for Azeroth’s lack of new 120 talents, Hazzikostas explains it as a tough scenario. If the designers come up with three new abilities for rogue or death knights, those classes may not necessarily need three new abilities. Those abilities may be filler, or they may shore up a weakness in the class design and remove counterplay. That being said, Hazzikostas does agree that “it’s possible we’ve gone too far.”
I like his recommendations 2 level 1-20 zones to get to 20, then do all the 2nd zones since they are designed for walking (Horde: Northern Barrens, Silverpine Forest, Ghostlands, Azshara, & Hillsbrad Foothills if you need a little more. Alliance: Westfall, Loch Modan, Darkshore, Bloodmyst Isle, and if you need a little more Redridge Mtns, or Duskwood). Don't even bother with the higher level areas, too spread out. Finishing up a Monk now and I had done all these zones before the update, the running between quest and the 50% experience cap is driving me crazy.
Thanks so much for the replies. I think I am somewhat of a collector/roster builder. I go around doing the dailies but I also like buying pets just for their looks. I watched hazelnutty on youtube last night. I think I will focus on doing the expeditions when I have time to get all the pets that come from that. Then I will go back and do old raids like Eekwibble suggested.

Be warned that players will occasionally list items in the Auction House that are sold by vendors. This typically applies to limited sale quantity items or items in remote, harder to reach locations. Items from Outland that advance certain skills (such as books for training Cooking or First Aid past a skill of 300) are typical. These items are notoriously listed for 2, 3, or even 10 times their vendor purchase-able price. Using an add-on such as Auctioneer Advanced can forewarn you of such a tactic. You should ONLY buy such items if your server is so full and busy that you simply are unable to acquire the item on your own. Otherwise, wait for the vendor to re-stock (usually takes about 20 minutes to 1 hour depending upon the vendor). You'll save yourself a considerable amount of money. See Buying Items from Vendors for Resale below for more on this.

This level range opens a variety of zones from the Cataclysm expansion, which are spread across the game’s original continents, but it’s more efficient to head to the continent of Pandaria. You can spend the entirety of this level range exploring its uniquely themed zones and quests. The Jade Forest, Valley of the Four Winds, and Kun-Lai Summit are our picks, but all the zones are worth checking out.
Starting off at some mid level? Come into the guide from any level, scroll through, find and click the level you want to start with, and the guide will take it from there. Zygor suggests starting the guide a level or two before your level. This is to allow you to work you way into the local quest chains. Just skip the chains for quests you didn’t pick up along the way, or the quests that you already did.
Combat is turn-based and there is no time limit on each round in a PVE Pet Battle. You can take your time to determine which spell to use next. Some pet abilities have multiple round cooldowns, while others can do extra damage if certain conditions are met. Be creative and have fun testing which combination of attacks works best against different wild pets!
Making Gold with Addons is the new hot thing in WoW. To really become great at making gold, YOU NEED THEM! But you can't just install them, you NEED TO KNOW HOW TO USE THEM PROPERLY! There are 11 of them that you don't want to do without. I'm not only going to tell you what they are but also I'm going to show you how to use them to unleash their full power to get rich!

If you already have a high level character or a friend willing to give you gold then you can purchase Heirloom items. These items are bound to account and are accessible through the Heirlooms tab using Shift+P. The benefits of these Heirloom items is that they scale with your level keeping your gear up to date without you having to worry about upgrades, and they provide a significant XP bonus.

From the above review, a lot has been said about the Zygor Guide. Many gamers are impressed by its simplicity, versatility, user-friendliness, and automated approach. On the other hand, some players find the guide more suited for advanced players. Also, it does not cover dungeons and battlegrounds. In summary, although the guide is not perfect, its pros greatly outweigh the cons. Majority of the users have given a “thumb up” to the guide. This should probably clear any doubt concerning its effectiveness. However, you can always first test the trial guide. All-in-all, Zygor Guides will certainly make leveling easy and more convenient.
Lightforged draenei (7.3.5) - "For untold millennia, the Army of the Light waged war against the Burning Legion throughout the Twisting Nether. The draenei most committed to their long crusade would undergo a ritual to become Lightforged, infusing their bodies with the very essence of the Holy Light. After finally achieving victory on Argus, the Lightforged Draenei have undertaken a new mission: protecting Azeroth from rising threats and helping the Alliance push back against Horde aggression."
Highmountain tauren (7.3.5) - "Descended from Huln, brave hero of the War of the Ancients, the Highmountain tauren honor the spirits of earth, river, and sky. Though the Legion invaded their lands and sowed seeds of distrust between them, the tribes of Highmountain stand united once more. At long last they are ready to venture beyond their sacred mountain and stand beside their kin from Kalimdor, lending their nobility and strength to the mighty Horde."
Once you have your finished product and have a price for it, keep in mind that using either your faction AH or the neutral AH also costs money: if the item does not sell, its deposit is taken by the AH; if it does sell, the deposit is returned, but a cut from the payment it taken by the AH as a commission. You must factor this into your selling price: your faction's AH will take 5% from your sale, while the neutral ones will take 15%. You can factor this into your cost to determine the minimum price at which you need to sell to at least break even:
So tonight I took the plunge and thought hey let me buy a Zygor Guides subscription to see how it is. A guide backed by a subscriber base paying for a premium experience this has to be great right? I was wrong. I tested it by loading it up on the Honorboud Rep Guide. Cool it tells me to do World Quests and Island Expeditions. So far so good but hang on... What about the Wanted Quests? Those are by far the biggest boost to reputation. It did not mention them at all. So I thought that's fine it's probably because BFA is quite new. Loaded up a leveling guide on an alt. It was a complete mess. The guide was telling me to accept quests that A) would be horribly inefficient to level with and B) I already done. I also started noticing weird performance issues. Zygor was causing stuttering and FPS dips like crazy. So to close off I requested a refund and the person I spoke to did say I'll be getting one but we will see if that happens. Not getting my hopes up.
Cool the whlelping spot that has caused so much controversy int he gold farming community.  I still think spot is mentionable because it's really the only reliable spot to pull out a crimson whelping.  Most of you are probablly thinking this farm is old and beat to death, and you are right.  BUT that does not take away the fact that the whelping does drop highest from this farm.  If you can get it from the slavemasters your looking at anywhere from 25,000g and above.  A cool nifty old spot, that has survived the test of time.
Let’s consider the fact, that the token price is rising again with the Virtual Blizzcon Ticket and possible Addon-Announcements for Blizzard Games. The reason the token is so cheap right now is the fact, that a lot of players bought Tokens for real money at the Shop. The more tokens are ingame, the less gold they cost. Supply and demand is the keyword here.

Leveling from 1-60: Questing and Dungeons Recommended leveling paths for new players between 1 and 60 in World of Warcraft. Includes tips for questing zones and leveling dungeons. Heirloom Collections Guide A guide to the Heirloom Collections Tab. A complete list of all heirlooms, how much they cost, which vendors sell them, what currency you need, and more!

What’s worse, it’s rarely satisfying when you do make it to a new milestone in your grind to unlock the gear you need. Legion had legendary items that changed the way an ability functioned, which would also completely change the way classes played; the Azerite traits in the Battle for Azeroth are rarely as interesting. Instead, they are simply passive bonuses that, in most cases, help you do more damage without any extra effort on your part. While some classes are lucky enough to have traits that change their gameplay slightly, Blizzard has so far seemed to favor nerfing those traits out of viability for most specs.

Herbalism is also a good source of money. Herbs are required by alchemists and scribes. Unlike ore which is found only in rocky areas, herbs can be found in many places. Be sure to check on the auction house for what herbs are in demand for a high value; often a lower level one is very valuable, so you can farm an area you already know for quick money.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth also provides you with the opportunity to quickly upgrade your character to level 110. Enter the enormous battle fully prepared for it. After you start the expansion, you will sail to the kingdom of Kul Tiras and visit the trolls of the Zandalari Empire. Win epic battles and take control over the strategically placed Stromgarde. Discover a twenty-player cooperative missions on the War Front and take part in numerous expeditions. Gather resources scattered over treacherous, undiscovered territory.
Darkmoon Faire: The Darkmoon Faire comes around once a month and provides two ways of bonus XP. You can ride the carousel to get the “Whee!” buff (10% bonus XP for one hour). You can also get the Darkmoon Top Hat by playing a few games, which gives you 10% bonus XP but only works during the Darkmoon Faire. Both of these are generally not worth it for the most part, as you spend more time running to get the buff than you gain in XP when leveling.
4. Is there a guild waiting for you on the target server that you are satisfied with? Often times, I have transferred to a server, made a lot of gold and quit the game out of boredom because I was without a guild. Another aspect behind this question is that often times in guilds, you can get free flasks and materials to craft goods instead of spending your own gold. This will add up in the long run, whether it's free repairs or free abyss crystals. Remember, you can always send the crystals to another toon and sell them for gold as well.

Warcraft 1 and 2 Now Available on GOG Following the original Diablo's addition to the Good Old Games store Blizzard are now adding Warcraft: Orcs and Humans and Warcraft 2 Battle.net edition (which has Beyond the Dark Portal included) as well! The franchise's 25th anniversary is coming up this year and this is a great way to celebrate (in addition to the upcoming Warcraft 3: Reforged)!
The idea of the expansion came up after the heroes of Azeroth dealt with so much external threats like the Burning Legion. In their own words, "so when we talk about what's the biggest threat in this world, is it the titan or is it the dwarf paladin that put a hammer in that titan's head"? As such, the enemy (at least during the early parts of the scenario) will be the opposite faction, a "vast army of world-destroying forces".[4]
These are Warlock- and Mage-only skills which can net you some money. It's not much, but a few gold is worth it. Note that Mages have an easier time with this than Warlocks as Warlocks need to be at the location for the summoning and need an additional person (a 3rd) for the group to help out with the summons. Mages only need the reagent to open the portal. While the Warlock doesn't incur a cost (except the loss of a soul shard), the Mage will typically be more successful at finding employment using this method.
As for Battle for Azeroth’s lack of new 120 talents, Hazzikostas explains it as a tough scenario. Awesome trick really.  In this farm we'll be taking advantage of game mechanics to exploit a way into getting more defias loot drops.  The defias leggings and gloves have respective selling prices of 3,000g and 14,000g and only drop from 1 mob in the instance a staggering 1% of the time.  But do not fret, we can get the upper hand on this.  Much like past drop-combat farms, if you kill just one of the two defias overseer's in the instance, THEN drop combat, the one you killed will instantly respawn.  The trick here is to bring a character that can consistently drop combat and score many more kills than the average farmer.  To date, a hunter is best – with night elf being slightly better because of shadowmeld.  You can also bring potions of invisibility to boost the effect.  Anyway, while the average farmer only gets 1 shot to get these super rare xmogs, with this method you can get up to 40 chances in an hour.  Seems fair right?

For players, they’ve spent months dealing with the burden of Darnassus. For characters like Tauren druids, or Blood Elf paladins, this can feel like an overwhelming loss of agency. Many Horde players are also concerned because a similar tale played out two expansions ago in Mists of Pandaria, with Garrosh Hellscream. For these players, the second corrupt Warchief in under five years might suggest that the Horde they have been playing under for a decade or more is broken, and not worth defending.

Similar problems have risen in the leveling system, which automatically scales to the player’s level and equipment. For the most part, you’ll vaporize enemies more quickly as you gain power, but there are some weird dips. Many players complained they felt less powerful at level 119 than at level 110, a problem I experienced myself. And world PvP remains a strange and whacky world where level and class balance issues make wins and losses feel destined instead of earned.

The expansion allows players to level up to level 120, an increase from the level cap of 110 in the previous expansion Legion.[1] Initially, there will be ten dungeons included with 8.0 with Mythic Plus versions of the dungeons and the first raid, Uldir, being available soon after the game's release. Following the beginning of preorders and the release of four allied races in January 2018, the number of character slots per server was raised from 12 to 16; with the launch of the expansion in August, it was raised to 18, to make room for the two additional races unlocked with initial content. The number of available bag slots in the player's backpack, which has been fixed at 16 slots since the game's release in 2004, will also receive an increase if an authenticator is attached to an account.
Level 120 comes and goes. Island Expeditions have unlocked, but it turns out they’re not much fun, and the most rewarding versions are only accessible to premade groups. You turn to Warfronts only to realize they’re not available this week. Fine. You can always grind out better gear. Except as you do, you notice your new gear has higher Azerite requirements than your old gear, which means your shiny new items have fewer unlocked traits than what they replaced. Discouraged, you decide to roll as one of the cool new Allied Races. Except you can’t because they’re all locked behind reputation grinds.
-Bugs- There aren't too many glaring bugs anymore, but you will certainly encounter some. The pathetic thing is that many of the bugs you'll encounter were reported repeatedly during Alpha/Beta and still weren't fixed. Some bugs were discovered after release and players were able to abuse game mechanics without repercussion unless they were one of the more serious offenders. This gave some players a significant advantage over others because they used exploits and at the start of an expansion, that is the time when it's most impactful.
Once you get to about 200g, the theoretical limit of your profit virtually disappears. You now have enough money to start mass buying and reselling those players' goods who undercut everything by an extreme amount. Enchant mats are still a very good focus during this period, especially essences and crystals. You can now afford to buy several maelstrom and abyss crystals and wait until prices fluctuate to resell for a profit. A major strategy you can begin to employ is the multi-character trading and auctioning. If you come across 5 abyss crystals, get onto one character during peak hours and advertise a price 25-50% higher than average. When no one responds to this, quickly switch to another toon and offer the same 5 crystals for 10% lower than before. This will help to raise the median price because other sellers see what they may be able to get for their good. While they are cancelling and reposting, take this time to undercut their new prices, which is now more than you ever could have gotten before when prices were low. If you master this with BoE epics or more rare items, then you can make differences of thousands of gold.
To find gold guides with the best gold tips right now, check out www.wow-strategy.com. Many popular guides will feed you an exact number, like say 600g per hour. While these numbers may sound good at first, they are often overvalued. These numbers are speculative based upon how many dailies you can do at optimal speeds, how fortunate you are with random drops, or relative material prices that differ according to server economy. Consequently, for the sake of the avid reader following this guide, I will not quantify gold per hour, nor will I tell you that farming and daily quests are a good source of income. Also, 600g per hour would still take over 350 hours to hit the gold cap. This number increases even greater when you figure in that dailies can not be constantly repeated every hour as they reset only after 24 hours. What all this information adds up to is a simple answer to making the greatest amount of gold fastest, the auction house. This is similar to gambling online like at Best online casino UK, This does not mean merely just buying and reselling, although that is a big part of it. The avid gold maker will set up many different "alts" all ready to buy and resell, creating the single most dangerous thing in capitalism, monopolies.
