Back in the days of Burning Crusade, leveling up your character was a very tedious procedure. The quests were not even shown on the map, you always had to read through the quest list and figure out where to go and what to do (which mobs to kill, items to retrieve, etc.). After a few more expansions, questing became a little bit easier, due to the quest chains being more linear. You can pretty much follow the main quest storyline. Also, the map became more interactive.
Incorporating an accelerated leveling pace is *definitely* something we want to incorporate in to the new addon My hope is to allow an option for you to set yourself to one or two higher speeds, where the guide will skip some steps along the way. The steps will have a special tag that lets the addon know to skip them if the person has that setting enabled.

If a companion dies during the battle, it will need to be resurrected before it can participate in another encounter or be summoned as a traveling companion. Get that pet a medic! Or in this case, a Stable Master. Stable Master NPCs can heal and revive your pets for a small fee, and there is no cooldown on the Stable Master's heal. You’ll find Stable Masters in major towns and cities across Azeroth.
YouTuber Oldbess recently uploaded a video about this cool method. Generally completing the scenario "Deaths of Chromie" will allow you to pick up the item "Time-Lost Wallet" in excess. You can get it from just killing the mobs or actually completing the scenario in full. By then end you will have dozens of time lost wallets. Each wallet awards 50g AND a rare chance at getting the ]bronze proto-whelp[/U] pet. In the video, this spot was VERY hard for to pull off as it requires a high item level. With an 809 item level I struggled all throughout the scenario and could not make this spot profitable for the time invested. The good news is, if you can get it done, the gold you make will be entirely liquidated – the rewards are 50g raw for each wallet turn in. I suggest you watch it on Oldbess's channel for full details.
These iconic locations will look a little different than what players see on the live servers. Hook Point and Mugambala on the Tournament Realm resemble marketplaces, full of vendors that will provide players with the specific gear required for MDI—the best gear from dungeons and raids, all set to item level 415—as well as pots, flasks, gems, and enchants. All a mythic dungeon-runner could desire, sold at the bargain price of zero Gold. This is to ensure that all players in the MDI race will have access to all the things they feel is the best fit for their character and for their team’s overall composition and strategy.
-Bugs- There aren't too many glaring bugs anymore, but you will certainly encounter some. The pathetic thing is that many of the bugs you'll encounter were reported repeatedly during Alpha/Beta and still weren't fixed. Some bugs were discovered after release and players were able to abuse game mechanics without repercussion unless they were one of the more serious offenders. This gave some players a significant advantage over others because they used exploits and at the start of an expansion, that is the time when it's most impactful.
The main tool for any serious gold maker is TradeSkillMaster. It is an addon suite with a desktop application that downloads price data and allows you to create rules for easy crafting, mailing, shopping and posting your items on the auction house. It has a premium service that includes e-mail notifications for great deals and importing great deals as a shopping scan.
Items you buy from vendors can be resold on the auction house for a profit. The most common way of making gold this way is finding either vendors with limited supply items that you can only buy a set amount of a particular item from and then you have to wait a while before someone can buy more, or buy items from vendors located in locations that are far off. There are also vendors that will sell items for other currencies than gold. One more important thing to note is that you can sell very common easily available items on the AH as well. Like crafting materials from profession supply vendors that only cost a few copper or silver that can be resold on the AH for gold, and they actually have a decent sale rate.
Note that these general principles do not apply to blue or purple items. If you are a first-time player, there is absolutely no reason to purchase these items. None. Sub-80 rare and epic items are only for the alts or twinks of established players that have money to waste (because that's what it is) by showing off their Staff of Jordan (or whatever). Blues and purples are completely cost-ineffective for first-time characters. Within a few levels, you will find green gear that is roughly comparable, or you'll get better blues from instance runs at the same level. So, do not buy these items, under any circumstances, if you are a first-time character (no matter how cool they look). And even if you're reasonably well-off financially, think twice. This is especially true as your character gets closer to levels 58 and 68. Even the most basic quest-reward gear in Outland will have substantially better stats than anything you can buy off the AH for a level 56 character. The same is true of Northrend gear at level 68 vis-a-vis the stuff you'll get in Outland at level 68. As such, smart players stop making AH gear purchases by about level 54 or so, and then just gut it out until level 58. The same is true at levels 64-68. Within the first several quests in Hellfire and/or Northrend you'll have replaced half of your gear in any case, guaranteed.
TSM has a very steep learning curve, as it is a total profession framework. It does not hold your hand, and requires a lot of setup. Luckily you can import settings from other players and there are a ton of settings out there. I have published most of my settings in my pastebin here. You can also check out Sheyrahs. TSM recently upgraded to version 4 and I have a written guide for TSM here that is currently up to 11 parts covering all of the basic functionality.
Hands. Down. The. Best. Whelping. Spot. Ever. There are soo many spawns, and too many whelpings. This spot is very close to becoming an infinite farm. You just cant run out of targets to hit in such a confined area. Each whelping has an 0.09 chance to drop a dark whelping – which may seem small until you realize you can easily down 40 whelps in a minute. And by the time you finish, they will respawn. The farm takes place at the ruins of Kargath in badlands and is usually empty. Noone seems to visit this spot, probably because its more hit-or-miss than direct gold. If luck finds you, you can walk away with a popular pet that's worth a pretty 14,000g
It's hard to step out of the shadow of Legion, which was utterly fantastic in almost every way, to enter an expansion where you get one item per boss in the last expansion because the rules have been changed to force more grinding, where you have to grind reputation in the old expansion that you probably skipped because rep grinds suck JUST to unlock allied races (who aren't fully unique races since they recycle old content such as animations), where questing has SOMEHOW become boring again and where your new abilities are given by items you'll swap out every level, meanwhile being only boring passive effects no one cares about.
After 14 years, the biggest problem for Blizzard is to keep players engaged. The war setting is a way for the developers to return to a primal conflict and create emotional touchstones. The Nightborne have turned their backs on the Alliance; Sylvanas has destroyed not one but two cities; the Kul Tirans have cast Jaina Proudmoore out as a traitor; and Taelia Fordragon is starting to ask questions about her father, Bolvar, whom she has been told died in a war against the Lich King. (She does not know he has become the Lich King.)
This farm almost did not make this list. Even though I have had only a little luck with it, it seems to be gathering some popularity in the gold farming community. Although I feel with the recent changes in 7.3, this farm is very close to dying out. Generally what you want to to do is pull every mob you can as you venture to the last boss in the instance. The only saving grace of this farm (if you can call it that) is that some mobs are GUARANTEED to drop greens. Guaranteed. Whether or not they drop profitable greens is a different question, however it's a must-mention quirk you get from running this instance. It also allows you to get your hands on some rare low level blues.
Still, it’s terrible to see the new expansion fail so spectacularly at iterating on Legion’s success. It’s hard to believe the two expansions came from the same company. Legion made you feel powerful and unique. Battle for Azeroth grinds at you by taking away as much as it gives. Sure, you can have a shiny toy. Sometimes. If you don’t get too carried away.
Darkmoon Faire: The Darkmoon Faire comes around once a month and provides two ways of bonus XP. You can ride the carousel to get the “Whee!” buff (10% bonus XP for one hour). You can also get the Darkmoon Top Hat by playing a few games, which gives you 10% bonus XP but only works during the Darkmoon Faire. Both of these are generally not worth it for the most part, as you spend more time running to get the buff than you gain in XP when leveling.
Allied races are variants of existing races. The Void Elves are a version of Night Elves, while the Highmount Tauren are, you guessed it, a version of the Tauren. Four allied races are already in the game before launch and two more, the Dark Iron Dwarves and Mag’har Orcs, were added after Battle for Azeroth launched. Each Allied Race has its own racial abilities. You can also unlock a heritage armor set by leveling any Allied Race to the level cap.
These keystones will allow teams to make five attempts at each dungeon in the three-dungeon pool. Players will be informed of the dungeons and affixes 48 hours before the Time Trial begins, which will run every week of the Spring Season, alternating each week between East and West. Each week will feature different dungeons and affixes to keep players on their toes - this element of mystery will ensure fresh challenges and more chances for teams to make the top 8 every week!
AWESOME spot.. if you are a druid, here's why. This spot takes place on an island in the very north part of Stormheim, which is surrounded by water. In this water are 2 groups of crabs that roam in packs of 12. Each of these crabs can be skinned for scales and with the usual perks I mentioned in the earlier skinning spots. (See spot 13). The only catch is sometimes the crabs are very far apart and require some travelling to get to. Druid travel forms not only have increased swim speed, but the wild charge ability allows you to swim 150% faster for 10 seconds, all the while replenishing your breath meter. Pretty cool right? I found that druids are AWESOME for farming this spot and can easily outclass other farmers here. It's a druid spot that limits the competition – while ensuring you have the most uptime. Very cool. Gutting and level 3 stormscale skinning recommended.
I joined twitch in 2013 with the gamer name of FuriousPaul and I streamed speedruns of the classic Castlevania games from 2013 - 2017. Lately my streams have died down quite a bit due to working on Classic WoW leveling guides every day. Although I may come on occasionally and play a random game for fun on my Twitch stream. Unfortunately I will have to wait until Classic WoW comes out before I start streaming it.
There's a good chance you can buy the raw materials for 25% - 75% of the going rate of the finished item, or mine them for free. The fee for an 8 hour auction is only 1 silver, so you can afford to re-auction rods that don't sell the first time. Be careful of making too many rods or other parts of a kind at once, though, as you may get stuck with them for a long time when others produce the same item and set a cheaper price to it.
Footholds into enemy territories can be done as you grow in levels and should be completed before reaching Level 120. Take the time after completing your first zone to do your first foothold, or you can choose to complete one as soon as you gather your 100 War Resources which will prompt you to return to your mission table area where the first foothold quest can be obtained. Similar to how your initial zone selection was largely irrelevant, this selection is, as well. Simply pick one and complete it to earn your Mission Table second champion. Send your champions out on missions, recruit troops, and then head back out to quest in your second zone selection.
