This will essentially compare DBHistorical, DBRegionMarketAvg and DBRegionHistorical and then use which ever of these price sources valued the item the lowest to assess the value of an item. This way TSM will hopefully not overvalue items. You could even go a step further and add DBMarket and/or even DBMinBuyout to the string. Then TSM will be even more pessimistic when valuing items.
Similar problems have risen in the leveling system, which automatically scales to the player’s level and equipment. For the most part, you’ll vaporize enemies more quickly as you gain power, but there are some weird dips. Many players complained they felt less powerful at level 119 than at level 110, a problem I experienced myself. And world PvP remains a strange and whacky world where level and class balance issues make wins and losses feel destined instead of earned.
World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth for PC will increase the level cap to 120 as players set out to bolster the war effort for their faction. Instead of everyone leveling in the same zone, Horde players will venture to the troll-occupied island of Zandalar while the Alliance seeks to restore diplomatic ties with the naval superpowers of Kul Tiras. In Battle for Azeroth for PC, each continent has three zones that have dynamic level-scaling identical to Legion, so you can choose where to go at your leisure. Once you’ve reached level 120, the opposing faction’s zone becomes available to explore and conquer. You will level up in your faction’s zones, and access the zones of the other faction at 120 through world quests and emissaries. The scaling technology introduced in Legion has come back, and you can do the zones in any order in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth for PC. The number of available bag slots in the player’s backpack, which has been fixed at 16 slots since the game’s release in 2004, will also receive an increase if an authenticator is attached to an account.
For more than a year in WOTLK I did nothing but raiding and some dailies here and there. I leveled a bit on a few alts and, as all are aware, it cost to support alts sometimes. I did dailies, and LFG quests until the Dungeon finder came along. I did 2 or 3 randoms then logged off if not a raid night. I was bored with the grind of dailies and wanted a change.
This farm almost did not make this list. Even though I have had only a little luck with it, it seems to be gathering some popularity in the gold farming community. Although I feel with the recent changes in 7.3, this farm is very close to dying out. Generally what you want to to do is pull every mob you can as you venture to the last boss in the instance. The only saving grace of this farm (if you can call it that) is that some mobs are GUARANTEED to drop greens. Guaranteed. Whether or not they drop profitable greens is a different question, however it's a must-mention quirk you get from running this instance. It also allows you to get your hands on some rare low level blues.
MDI Spring Season Viewer's Guide The Mythic Dungeon International Spring Season starts tomorrow and Blizzard have a handy schedule for all the cups coming our way. The many teams that qualified through the Proving Grounds will be competing for a spot in each individual cup's top 8 which will then be streamed and commentated live every other week. While enchanting is generally considered expensive to level, you can make a profit with it as soon as you start disenchanting for profit. It is not unlikely that almost any green item in this case will have a buyout price for a lot less than the materials it disenchants into. Likewise, it is lucrative to check the auction house for green items with unpopular suffixes, such as "of the Gorilla," with low starting bids.
An important aspect to crafting professions in BfA are the warfront contributions. During the contribution phase of a war front you will have to turn in various crafted items to help the war effort. During this time you can make gold with all the professions in the game if you are crafting the items that are currently required for turn-ins. This effect is pretty much the same across all the professions, so I will not be mentioning it specifically.
Blizzard has struggled to contain the rapidly expanding amount of abilities players have gained access to over the years. So, one solution they're using now is to add abilities that exist for an expansion. In Legion, you leveled up and curated an artifact weapon based on your class lore, granting yourself new abilities as you completed quests and dungeons throughout the game. In Battle for Azeroth, you are granted a magical pendant known as the Heart of Azeroth, and throughout your leveling experience and beyond, you will also level up this necklace, unlocking new traits for your class spells and abilities.
Most of the time you spend leveling will involve questing and slaying monsters, but there’s also a lot of travel. Travel earns you little experience (you do gain a bit for discovering new areas), so it’s wise to keep travel to a minimum. The new level scaling system, which scales zones to your level within a preset range, helps with that. You can choose what zones you want to experience and stick with them until you finish their quests.
The Horde will now control most of Kalimdor, and the Alliance most of the Eastern Kingdoms. For a low-level character the quests and storylines won't change, but for high-level players many zones will see changes via phasing. Teldrassil is burned and Undercity is in ruins as the story progresses by phasing. At max level Arathi Highlands and Darkshore are phased to be updated to reflect their status as locations for Warfronts.
After completing your island expedition and second foothold, head back out to your third and final zone to quest in. Note that any legendaries you were using to level have become inactive and are merely stat sticks now. Feel free to replace them with quest gear as you obtain it. Before heading out, feel free to send your three champions out on new missions!
The cloak is nice because you only need one of these instead of the previous cloak versions since the primary stat changes depending on the class it is used on. The on use trinkets for versatility, haste, or critical strike could be very strong if used together by numerous party members with the same trinket. Finally, the threat reducing trinket could be useful for solo levelers in dungeons with newer, non-heirloom geared tanks in order to not pull threat on some larger packs of enemies.
It surprises me how this farm was not made public until Legion. It literally slipped through our sights all throughout WOD, where admittedly it would of been a GREAT replacement for the infinite embersilk spot that was quickly nerfed. Anyway, this volatile fire spot takes place in twilight highlands in the humboldt conflagration area – which is a small fire bed with about 20-30 elementals roaming around. Each time you kill you have a chance to recieve volatile fire which is worth 50 – 100g per drop. However, according to my test, the volatile fire has a higher drop chance than the volatile water. I believe this has to do with the popularity of the volatile water farm in WOD, it's popularity may have of gotten it stealth nerfed. Sad to say, but this spot is slightly better in my opinion. REMEMBER to use a potion of treasure finding.
The Hivemind is a secret mount resembles a jellyfish brain with tentacles and is the one the major secrets added in Battle for Azeroth. The Hivemind mount acts as a vehicle, however only the last people that you completed it with are able to join it. The mount's movement speed will be increased by 10% for every player that joins the vehicle, which is also shown through the Joined Hivemind buff.
Nov 10 well i tryed i was hoping to comeback to wow after being away since cat but my only real interest was pvp. seeing the state its in now i can see it's not worth bothering with and i feel i've given it enough time. the only choices i see for pvp is to twink so i can beat on kittens (cause i'm so 1337) or be so under powered i'm useless as i watch the twinks decimate my team. i didn't return for the american gladiator experience. it's a shame i missed legion i feel i would have like it better.Piale5 Nov 10
These iconic locations will look a little different than what players see on the live servers. Hook Point and Mugambala on the Tournament Realm resemble marketplaces, full of vendors that will provide players with the specific gear required for MDI—the best gear from dungeons and raids, all set to item level 415—as well as pots, flasks, gems, and enchants. All a mythic dungeon-runner could desire, sold at the bargain price of zero Gold. This is to ensure that all players in the MDI race will have access to all the things they feel is the best fit for their character and for their team’s overall composition and strategy.
BUT NOW, all the mobs except for the odd rare or boss in a zone are always the same level as you. Every combat is exactly the same. Aggro a bad guy, he runs at you, you go through your standard spell rotation; hit 3, then 1, then 3, then 7, then 3, then 4, then 3, then 3. Then you loot the corpse. It doesnt matter what you are fighting, every combat becomes EXACTLY the same. Boring. Pointless. Meaningless. And then when you complete a level and ding? Every one of your 30,000 enemies dings at the same time and combat stays exactly the same! You gain NOTHING from leveling. It goes from exhilarating to depressing. Why even have different mobs if they will be exactly the same? The could all just be a white blob. Heck, why even have the monitor on, just blank the screen and type 3-1-3-7-3-4-3-3. You could run it on a 70's programmable calculator. Start program, type "31373433" and look at the display for what random percentage of health you have left. Repeat. Again. Again. Again.
Previously, we covered World of Warcraft's Legion expansion and some of the last updates from the past few months. We found that World of Warcraft's Legion expansion was among the best in recent years, if not of all time, adding an absolutely insane amount of content for players of all types to enjoy. With Battle for Azeroth launching on August 13, 2018, we thought we'd give you an update on what to expect from the next expansion as a returning player or a total newbie.
The quality of captured wild pets is random. As of patch 5.1, upon entering a battle the Pet Battle UI shows the quality of a wild pet (idicated by a color-coded border around its icon). If you're farming a specific quality, if you forfeit the match your team will incur a small damage penalty (roughly 10%). There is no accurate way to determine a pet's quality prior to the start of a battle.
Importing will allow you to see all chests on the map. The best way to farm the chests is using a Outlaw Rogue since they can see whether a chest is spawned or not on the minimap. Other classes will have to get up close and look around while a Rogue can see if the chest has spawned on the minimap. You can use a trial character for this. Just remember to mail the items you get before your three hours has gone.
Anyway, however you choose to get to the addon's menu, choose guide list and then pick the zone you want to quest in. There are some zones that will autoselect based on quests in your log, but not all guides or all quests are set up that way. (If you don't want to switch to a guide that auto-pops up choose "not now" or "never") As you can see in the screenshot, there are various categories of guides. Most max level content (such as Argus) is found in Achievements rather than leveling.
Another terrible one. I'd have initially thought the bloodlust was kinda useful since you won't have to waste money/effort on drums, it can't actually be used in instances so woo, a free BL in the open world that doesn't even buff your party members... and when both mail classes already have a BL, I mean, really, what's the point? The mount from the initial design could have at least been unique and possibly had a use, but this is very disappointing. The passive buffs outside don't appear to be anything spectacular or interesting either, though I suppose might be useful if you stumble upon them while doing world quests or whatever. I would recommend not crafting this one.
Overall, I'm very disappointed that half of them are barely even worth crafting, and there's little equality between them either, but still pleasantly surprised with how Alch and Tailoring turned out. Skinning, Herb and Mining not having anything even though they all have small crafting abilities is a big disappointment too; those three really should get rolled into other professions/become secondary professions with this kind of neglect.
2. Begging - Many guides will tell you begging is worthless and will not work because people get agitated. This is not entirely true if executed properly. As more players accumulate gold through Wrath and Cataclysm items and professions, the number of casual players with gold obviously increases. These casual players remember how it was to just start off and be poor. They will often donate a few gold to a sob story or a "noobie". Look for the players that are not in full epic sets of the best gear, but rather, the ones in heroic gear or worse.
The waypoint directional system helps you to easily spot and reach a quest NPC or target. The step-by-step guidelines give you an idea of the materials you will at later stages. This minimises the time wasted while backtracking. Your quest progress and level will be updated automatically by the guide. This feature makes it easy to use any character. If you want to take a break or switch to battlegrounds or dungeons, you only need to re-tweak the guide to match your need at hand. Zygor Guides also come with flight path usage, turn in and quest accepting.
Most classes in World of Warcraft start at first level, but Death Knights and Demon Hunters are exceptions. They start at level 55 and 98, respectively. This alone can shave a huge chunk of time from your leveling experience. Of course, it only works if you want to play a Death Knight or Demon Hunter, but they’re both solid classics that can dish out damage or tank in a group.
Island expeditions require groups of three players to venture to islands with randomly spawned enemies and piles of AP. The island expedition ends once they collect a certain amount of AP, and they are granted about 300 AP as a reward — unfortunately, players don’t get any of the between 6,000 and 12,000 AP they collect during the expedition. These missions can take anywhere from three to 20 minutes, and never once offer any real challenge or depth.
When it comes to gold making addons, as most of you know, there is one that comes before all the rest, Tradeskill Master. This addon will help you make heaps of gold on the auctions house, and will give you a deeper understanding of your servers economy and the whole WoW economy. Learning how to use it well takes time, so read through all the info on their site and maybe watch some youtube videos on how to set up TSM. TSM will help you appraise items, sell items quickly on the AH and buy items that you can resell for a profit, amongst other things. Additionally the addon will help vendor and managing your mailbox, making this the only addon you need for gold making purposes. We will be coming back to TSM in the Auction house part of the guide.
