MDI Spring Season Viewer's Guide The Mythic Dungeon International Spring Season starts tomorrow and Blizzard have a handy schedule for all the cups coming our way. The many teams that qualified through the Proving Grounds will be competing for a spot in each individual cup's top 8 which will then be streamed and commentated live every other week. In addition to earning a shot at the $12,000 per cup, players will be getting MDI points which will get them to the live cross-regional, in-person Spring LAN finals! Blood Elves and Dwarves gain access to Heritage armor as part of 8.1, as well, without a prolonged quest line, though they’ll need to be exalted through Silvermoon and Ironforge, respectively, in order to receive it. A Warfront called The Battle for Darkshore focuses on the struggle between Night Elves and the Forsaken. During the Warfront, you’ll be able to transform your character with temporary abilities, and when your faction controls either the Darkshore or Arathi Highlands, you’ll gain access to world quests.
After identifying items that people want you need to figure out how to obtain them at a lower price than the current auction house price, as this will ensure a profit. In general there are three ways you can obtain items in the game: buying them off the auction house, looting them (from mobs, nodes or similar) or crafting them. These methods help you obtain the items that you want to sell. This leads into the three main gold-making methods in WoW. Crafting, Farming and Flipping. So let’s dig into them.
There’s a lot of #content in the new expansion. It’s mostly locked behind a variety of gates, some of which players can’t even control. Warfronts are the best example. You might assume joining a Warfront is a simple matter of opening the group finder. Wrong! Warfronts are only accessible for a week at a time. It’s not precisely clear how often that week will come around (it’s based both on a time gate and on the opposing faction gathering resources) but, as of right now, it looks likely to be available just one week out of every four.
Soloing an instance can be all the more profitable if your character is an enchanter. During any solo instance run, you'll end up with some items which can be sold or traded, and some that are bind-on-pickup. Non-enchanters can only sell these soulbound items to a vendor, but an enchanter can disenchant the bind-on-pickup rare items, and then sell the shard/dust/essence instead of just selling the blue item to a vendor. (A side benefit of selling enchanting materials is that they do not require a deposit to list in the auction house, allowing you to list endlessly until the item sells.)
I'd say level this toon a bit more, maybe up to 30 or so, and see how you like the experience. If you find questing just a means to an end, maybe the guide would be a good buy. Me, I generally like questing and go to an area I'm interested in, even if it's not the most level-appropriate for me or the best way to maximize my time, so those guides aren't of much interest to me for now.
Now that you have the addons and the websites needed for success, you are ready to make auction toons. You will want two auction toons, one on the same faction as your main toon and one on the opposite faction. Do not use your main toon to make the auctions that get you gold! This is one of the greatest mistakes you can make because after a while, people will get annoyed with your prices and selling quantities and begin to blacklist you from groups and some will even boycott your products. Do not risk this happening to you, but rather, create an orc for horde and human for alliance and get them outside the nearest auction houses in Orgrimmar and Stormwind respectively. (As a personal preference, I tend to avoid names with bank, mart, or sell in the name because when negotiating outside of the auction house, you seem less personal). All the addons we downloaded should be enabled for these characters as well.
The NPC scan and NPC alert method is an awesome way to build a stock of rare BOE items simply because you don't really have to try.  By installing NPC scan and NPC alerts, you can literally just fly over anywhere and be alerted when you pass a rare spawn.  As we all know, rare spawn loot tends to have higher item vales, as not everyone is able to consistently farm them.  Some NPC's, especially those in outlands have those higher item values when compared to the rest of the world.  As a goldmaking method I just everyone should be doing this.  It only requires you download two addons and you can get access to important NPC,s that you would otherwise never knew existed.  The opportunities are endless, I would generally never play without these cool addons.  Realy cool.
As a new Orc on the block, I have trouble leveling efficiently. Recently, I read a review about Zygor Automated Leveling Guides. The add said these guides were useful to new players who frequently lose themselves in the questing game and fail to level effectively. The problem is the price. As a graduate student, my time and money come at a premium, and I really don't want to sink $60.00 into a leveling helper if it not all its cracked up to be. Has anyone used such a method successfully? I don't want to waste my time or that of others, but I figured posting this question was worth a shot and it would certainly be much easier on my bank account, especially if Zygor Guides is just trying to pull the proverbial wool over the eyes of new WoW gamers. AQ20 is a really nice transmog farm. The worms called Silicate Feeder are acutally the mobs with the best loot in the raids so be sure to loot them. They are found between the 3rd and 4th boss. Be sure not to kill ANY of the mobs in the room with the 2nd boss as that will start the encounter for the boss. You can go through the whole instance without killing any bosses, so you can choose to run the entire raid or exit after killing the worms by creating a group in the group finder and leaving it.

Deadmines was a blast! (eyeroll), with all of the waiting around for boss animations, neutral mobs and having to stop frequently for mining it made the dungeon feel like it was twice as long as it needed to be. Something i found out after doing around 70 runs or so (once I realized i had looted 5 pairs of defias pants and no other set piece) is that they have removed 3 out of 5 pieces of the set when the dungeon was revamped years ago. when comparing this dungeon to ragefire(last weeks runs I did come out with alot more loot and value in items so time running this was not a complete loss.
