The last tool is the total knowledge of experienced gold makers. Obviously you are already seeking this out as you are here. I have linked to several youtubers throughout the post, so make sure you check out the ones you like. Check out the list below for some other resources you should check out, including my Discord server for spreadsheet support.
I'll be rating them all from 1 to 5 out of 5, in no particular order, and in 3 categories: Profitability (with a 0 also being a loss of cash due to the expensive initial cost), Usefulness and finally Flavour/Coolness/Prof Fantasy, whatever you like to call it. These are all personal opinions gathered from having a few of them myself and from what's been shared on Wowhead about ones I don't know, so feel free to share your own opinions or correct me when I am wrong, here goes:

As stated before, a Destruction Warlock damage output is extremely average. If you are the type of player who wants to be the top overall DPS, this may not be your first choice. If, however, you are looking for something that will produce consistent results but can also provide good burst damage when needed, Destruction Warlock may be your perfect class.

The expansion is set immediately after the events of Legion.[4] Two continents have been added within the Great Sea between the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor: Kul Tiras, one of the major human kingdoms, and Zandalar, the homeland of Azeroth's trolls.[4] While the Alliance and Horde will initially travel to one continent respectively, both continents will be available to both factions at level 120.[4]

The Auction House (AH) is a brilliant way of making money if you know the tricks on how to do it. The basic strategy with the AH is to buy things cheap, re-list them on the AH, and then sell them for a profit. Even better, of course, is to get good items from drops and then sell them on the Auction House for pure profit. Many players generate most or all of their cashflow simply by speculating on the AH. So a good understanding of the it, as well as some time to invest, is essential to turning it into a money-making proposition for you. It is also highly recommended that you get the Auctioneer addon for quick listing auctions, and knowing the average price of items. Another great addon that can assist you in flipping items for profit on the Auction House is Tycoon. This addon analyzes items on the Auction House such as cloth, ore, and even TCG mounts. Once the information is recorded, Tycoon will inform you of the most profitable items possible, and exactly how much you can make by either farming them, or buying them at their current price and then relisting them.
Similar problems have risen in the leveling system, which automatically scales to the player’s level and equipment. For the most part, you’ll vaporize enemies more quickly as you gain power, but there are some weird dips. Many players complained they felt less powerful at level 119 than at level 110, a problem I experienced myself. And world PvP remains a strange and whacky world where level and class balance issues make wins and losses feel destined instead of earned.
I made some route changes to the Horde levels 43-44 sections.  I have swapped 44 Dustwallow Marsh with 44 Desolace (the entire sections). This allowed me to do Deadmire (at lvl 43 instead of 38) and then go stop at TB to turn in Deadmire + The Black Shield at the same time, then fly quickly to do the Desolace stuff.  Doing 44 Desolace is now mandatory because I think its faster with the new routes. This will also make the level 53 grind much shorter.  I think these were great changes.
Previously, we covered World of Warcraft's Legion expansion and some of the last updates from the past few months. We found that World of Warcraft's Legion expansion was among the best in recent years, if not of all time, adding an absolutely insane amount of content for players of all types to enjoy. With Battle for Azeroth launching on August 13, 2018, we thought we'd give you an update on what to expect from the next expansion as a returning player or a total newbie.
It comes with a detection system for quest which monitors your previous actions and makes improvements based on them. A directional arrow that appears on the screen will indicate the best direction. It is fully automated hence saves you the trouble of having to click when moving to the next level. By following the guide you will require fewer than 7 game days to move from 1 to 80. You can begin from mid-level and let the guide lead you through the next levels.

You can destroy your competitors so thoroughly, and own a server so totally, that other players could stop playing the game.  I show you how these competitors can also be your buyers, your supporters, your peons or employees and everyone on your whole server can profit and grow in riches together.  Do not buy this guide if you want to cause distress to other players.
Razorfen Kraul is maybe the best zone to fill up your auction house with good transmog. It has a big selection of zone wide rare BoE drops, great green drops and an guaranteed chance for a rare BoE from the Enormous Bullfrog. The frog drop a selection of around 30 rare BoEs, most worth around 1-3k. After killing him, there is only one group after that you should kill and then you can leave the instance.

Jewelcrafting is a crafting profession that revolves around gems. You prospect various ores turning them into gems and cut the gems. The cut gems can be added to socketed items. In addition you can craft rings that can either be disenchanted or sold as gear. The BfA gems sell well, particularly the haste gem and the Epic Kraken’s eyes. Due to price and gem yield ratios in BfA you should only ever prospect platinum ore. The jewelcrafting panther mounts are the best old world recipes, and these mounts are great for gold making!

The most simple thing is TradeSkillMaster. This AddOn shows you quite an amount of information in the items tooltip. In my opinion, DBRegionMarketAvg the best source. It tells me the price, an item was posted on all EU realms in the last 14 days. Why not DBMarket? DBMarket only shows you the items value from your server in the last 14 days. This value often gets manipulated. Some people start to post an item with a 500g value for 500.000 Gold on the auction house for several weaks. As a consequence, DBMarket is rising towards 500.000 Gold.  If you use DBMarket with 100% and post your item for 500.000 Gold, nobody will buy it.
Battle for Azeroth, the latest World of Warcraft expansion, has been almost entirely centered around the Horde. The Horde made the first strike in the faction war, burning down the Night Elven home of Teldrassil. Sylvanas, the Warchief of the Horde, stole the spotlight and was the most compelling character in the Battle for Lordaeron. The Zandalar campaign led the Horde to the first raid of Uldir, where Horde heroes slew G’huun. For many Alliance players, there’s a sense that they’ve been tagging along for the ride so far.
